Friendly Place

Stayed 2016-11-05 to 2016-11-06
Although I only spent one night here, it was easy to tell that this was a great park, friendly operators and guests that made one feel right at home. Site are paved and level, spacing was compact but well designed with pull thrus at various angle and some trees help to make for nice common spaces, not just row after row of RV's. Overall they fit a lot into a little space on the side of a gentle hill, yet don't make it feel crowded.

Great park
By user-5824915... on 2017-10-23.
Have stayed there several times and the staff and park has always been great. Lori,Bill and staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Level cement pads and full hook up with wi-fi makes it great for one nights stay or several days.
Stop by and say hello.

Nice place

Very nice, clean RV park. The shower house is wonderful - clean, new, roomy. Sites are close together but for an overnight stay this was no problem for us. We would stay here again.

Clean & Easy
By user-6633350... on 2018-03-14.
Stayed 3 nights in Class A. We had a pull through site with full hookup. Site had concrete pad with apron and picnic table. Downside the sites are very close together. Make sure you have a water pressure regulator as their pressure is 74 psi (No Fooling!) shower house and bathrooms were kept very clean. Located right off US 231, but hwy noise not bad. Some helicopter traffic during day due to nearby base. Bring spray for sugar ants. Would stay here again.

Great Value
By user-5882450... on 2018-05-17.
We stay here when passing through between NH and FL as we visit Pensacola for the Blue Angels Homecoming each fall. This KOA is small, but very well kept and homey. Great water pressure, but have a regulator handy if you need 70 psi or less for your rv. Very good propane prices, spotless bathhouse, nice pool, very convenient to Fort Rucker. The one star rating for January was due to sub freezing temps and protecting system, not running out of water, and staff did notify everyone. Adding some H2O to your fresh tank would have solved problem. Water was back on each morning. Overall, a very nice place to stay while visiting the area, or passing through. Will happily return in future. We stay in a 36 foot fifth wheel in a pull through site.

Quaint little place. Guided us in which was fairly easy in and out with our 37 , towing a car. Stayed one night on our way south, would do it again. Info at park warns of ant but didn t have a problem.

A Great KOA
By user-5286121... on 2019-08-09.
We were here in January. On arrival from the north you have to make a U turn to the northbound side of the highway, then turn into the entrance. We were met by two very helpful and friendly staff who guided us to our site, which is paved level and has full hookups. Staff made sure we were happy with the location and answered any questions we had. The park itself is beautifully landscaped with gardens, ponds and bridges. Sites themselves are a little narrow, but angled in a way that maximizes privacy. The park is unofficially divided between a "short term stay" area and a "long term stay area". There is a playground, nice sized dog park that is well lit at night, and paved or packed gravel roads for driving or easy walking. A truly lovely little KOA and we will return when we are in the area again.

Clean, older campground. Would stay there again while driving through.
