Rude camp rangers, camp store has terrible service, ice is cheap though. Campground is not easily navagatable with a camper. You cannot reserve a specific site so you have to drive around very tight spaces to find an open sight which makes things very interesting. And the speed bumps...my goodness! They were everywhere and they were not perpendicular to the road so my double axle trailer just rocked and rocked and rocked. I don't believe the folks that run it have ever felt the pains of camping there.
We live very close so thought it would be easier to chose a place close to home as first adventure. In addition, we had lived in the area for 20 years and had not been to the Rennesance Faire. I must admit I do not have anything to compare to. I felt the site was nice, lots of wooded sites. Other campers were very helpful. I thought that the ranger was not as helpful as I would have thought however they were extremely busy due to the RV show. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and I would return.
