Reviews for Pancho Villa State Park

| Great park!

Clean working restrooms and showers. Friendly staff and interesting Pancho Villa museum. Rt 11 is a busy highway, so if you want a quieter spot, park away from the road. Don't miss Irma's restaurant accross from the park entrance! Great food (best chile rellenos ever) and Irma makes you feel like family!

We found this out of the way gem on a cross country tour. Beautiful desert setting, best restroom and shower facilities we've found and a marvelous host. Amazing stars at night and wonderful sites. It's a desert spot but definitely worth it. We were just stopping over so didn't get to investigate the park or town. Great stop - highly recommend

Nice historic area with a museum, large level sites, all pull-throughs or pull-up alongsides, #51 is the favorite (says the nice campground host). They have 8 sites with 50amps, but they're first come, first served. We reserved a 30amp site online, then switched when we arrived. Clean, modern bathroom/showers. Great cell service and lots of air TV channels. No laundry, no sewer hookups, but they do have a nice large dump station. Super close to the border, where you can walk over from the US and grab free margaritas at The Pink Store! We were close enough to explore Rock Hound and City of Rocks State Parks in a day. We'd love to come back!
