Reviews for Panguitch KOA

| Great stop!

We stayed here for two night and really enjoyed the location and the wifi... Excellent spot close to Bryce Canyon in a quaint little town. The owners were so kind and knowledgable about the hot spots and gave us some great tips for visiting Bryce Canyon. Clean. Level gravel sites. Great wifi. Excellent TV channels with antenna. We will stay here again.

We were so disappointed when we arrived here! It is depressing and charmless. It's located on the side of a highway in a depressed-looking area, just a little too far from charming downtown Panguitch to walk. Sites are dusty and extremely close together, fire rings old and rickety (we were afraid to use ours), and you have to share common areas with your neighbor. The kids' playground is a joke - I thought it was a dog run at first until I saw that there were a couple of swings, a metal side, and an old metal climbing structure. My kids were intrigued by the "old-fashioned" equipment. The pool was cloudy with leaves floating in it. Bathrooms seemed clean and laundry area had plenty of machines, but there is no coin machine and the office closes pretty early, at 7, so I missed the chance to get quarters. Internet worked but was super slow. They do have propane and a common dump area, and the camp store was decently stocked. We had to pay $50 to stay here (an upcharge of $5 per kid) which seems like a lot for this dusty, dilapidated, park in the middle of nowhere. This was my first KOA experience, it just might be my last if this is typical!

Good campsite of course. Two more things to add: the nearby road can be somewhat noisy and most pull through sites share picknic space.

| The KOA owners were so friendly and pleasant

At an elevation 6,660 feet, we had a few cold nights, one down to 10 degrees F. But we were there on the day they opened in the season, so a bit early. There were nice trees but still satellite friendly. All gravel sites with grass and a picnic table. It’s a small sleepy town, but real friendly. With a shout out to Thomas's Service station, when Henry and Tanya Thomas went out of their way BIG TIME to help me fix my truck. But the real treat for me was Bryce National Park, a must see! The KOA owners were so friendly and pleasant too. I would definitely stay here again!

Just on the outside of Panguitch. Nice level pull through sites with picknic tables and campfire. Plenty of space in august. Clean restrooms. Small swimming pool was closed due to thunderstorm. Friendly people. Would come again.

| Nice place

We stayed here for one night to see Bryce Canyon. This is a quaint, quiet KOA. I think it was built back in the day when Airstreams were the largest RVs on the road. If you are a large motorhome towing a car, you will have to disconnect your tow car because it will not fit in your spot. Office staff very friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again.

We got there after hours. Didn't see the office staff until we were leaving and they were so nice and helpful. Directed us to one of the most beautiful scenic drives in the west.

| One night stay in May outside Bryce

By user-5599253... on 2019-08-09.

Excellent park. Friendly staff. Relatively small as RV parks go, which suits us just fine. A portion of the park is devoted to large tent (2 rooms or more) camping rentals and small cabins that look in great shape from the outside. Sites are gravel as are the roads. Some roads had puddles after several days of heavy rain but staff was putting down gravel to fill in. They have a dump station and propane fill station on site. Not all sites have sewer hookup. Bathrooms are excellent except they do not feel like they are heated. Very clean, security doors. Toilet stalls and showers are roomy with curtains between shower and anteroom and anteroom and sink area in stall. Seats within shower stall anteroom. See pictures. WiFi is limited. Big Fish restaurant across street with comfort food...but we did not try Would stay here again if in area

Everything was thought out and nice. Bathrooms clean and private. Great people running the place. No wonder they won a number of KOA awards.

Staff friendly and helpful. Our site was one of the deluxe sites as all others were full. Ours had a patio and grass. Power was good, water pressure decent, site was level. No highway noise and did not hear any trains. This is a small town and most stores including the grocery store were closed on Sunday.
