- 1* Trains are loud and -1* the Wifi from Tengointernet is a disaster. All Campgrounds I visited and Tengo was the WIFI provider, the inet was not usable. The Campground is 6*

Nice pool and spa area. Spots are pretty tight next to each other. The rec room is nice. Everything is clean inside and outside. The trains can be loud into the night. 10pm quiet time is enforced and no wood fires.

Stayed here last minute while passing through to Santa Cruz. Nice place to stay, kids loved the park nearby.

The camp hosts were awesome!! Offered us discounted LegoLand tickets, offered to help get backed in, brought us $8 when we paid them the Internet price, not the "in person" or call price!! The pool is cool, but super nice, the ambiance is so relaxing & welcoming!! They were a LOT cheaper & nicer than anything in San Diego!!!!!!

Hosts were awesome! Laundry facility was clean and great! Legoland proximity was great! Lots were concrete with a picnic table. Full hookups... They even assisted with backing in my trailer at 11:30 at night! The train was the only thing that keeps it from 5 stars. It is not their fault. But the train was annoying.

The park is family owned and run. Staff was very available and helpful. Everything is kept maintained and clean. Upgrades are ongoing. Easy walk to the beach, nearby park, and stores. Nice bike trail along the beach close by.

The Campground is just next to a railway and its so loud at Day and Night. Also the Campground is too expensive..We payed 80$

This place is not what it appears. To expensive, not safe, no working internet. Very crammed spaces. Train is next to park, too much traffic.

| Not as bad as some say

We stayed here for 7 days and all in all not a bad visit, Yes, there are trains, yes they are close, but it's not horrible given the location. Yes, on the weekends, it can resemble an RV storage lot, but everything is kept really clean and the staff is very helpful. It is expensive, and the only complaint I have is for that kind of money, I expect better wifi service. The tengo internet access is horrific; they even installed new towers while we were here - went from non-existent service to very limited sporadic service. But we are not here for internet access, so that is not a huge deal for us (but they should not advertise they have wifi, when they really don't). The daily rate varies and I have provided an average below. All in all, not a bad place to stay and allowed us to spend some quality time with our son while he was stationed at Camp Pendleton and a great central location for Oceanside and Carlsbad. We will visit again next time we are out this way - recommended for this area!
