Park is in disrepair. Obvious that it doesn't see much traffic. The road to it is a bit... tricky. Lots of uneven narrow road. Grass is kept mowed. Swim beach is kind of...mucky. the gate stays padlocked, better make sure someone is in the building before you leave. Not super friendly. Buildings are falling apart. Very shaded, grassy and quiet. Didnt mind our two yappy dogs, or their Xpen kennel. Not very windy. If you like solitude this is a great spot
....exactly what you go camping for! Lakeside sites are truly lakeside. Very quiet, relaxing, and nice space between sites. The staff was nice enough to reach out prior to our arrival to let us know how to handle late check in, etc. Public restrooms could use some updating, but all in all it was a great visit! We would definitely stay here again!
