| Road Noise!

Right off of I5 this state park campground borders the service road . The sites are beautiful and large and mostly level. The view of I5 is blocked by trees but unfortunately the trees do not block the traffic noise especially as trucks engage air brakes heading down hill. We don't usually mind general road noise but this one was extremely loud and definitely impacted the enjoyment of any outdoor activities at our lovely to look at campsite. At $40 per night it was a bit pricey for a water and electric hook up only site and given the road noise we will look elsewhere for an overnight site if in the area again.

| Convenient Overnighter

By user-4551732... on 2019-08-09.

We stayed here mid to late May, '18 to be near our daughter having her first baby. We are also Snowbirds who stay at least twice a year as we head South/North to/from our Whatcom County home enroute to warmer climes. Most sites are deep enough for our 32' class "A" M/H + our Chevy Tracker "toad". Yes, the I-5 is close and noisey, but then this is not a "Destination Resort". It's got water and electric hookups, paved pads, fire pits and tables. On your way out there's a dump station and at the I-5 interchange is gas, diesel, propane, and snacks. If you're on the north/south way, avoid everybody's rush hour and camp HERE.

Nice host. Very convenient off I-5. Clean wooded sites. TraffIc Noise but plenty of room for our 36ft RV and tow vehicle on level pad. $30 for full hookup including sewer. Tent sites and nice walking trails. Lots of room between sites. Well maintained campground.
