Wish we could have stayed longer. Will book ahead next year.
Due to the power being off the day after arrived we were very disappointed that the office had not advised us prior to our arrival. We could have changed our dates. Neighbours renovation ,noisy, muddy rv sites after rain and nothing open for business in this area, we had to drive about 24 miles to a Enterprise for milk and bread. Pity we didn't know that this area is mainly open for tourists after the memorial day.
We booked a year in advance only because we knew that it was going to be a busy weekend due to the Alpinfest (I think it is called that). We rented the convention center for an 80th Birthday party which included tables, chairs and a fully stocked kitchen (not good, but pots, pans, etc). Our site was about 50 feet from the river. There are dry camping sites at the rivers edge. Sites are kind of close but there are trees which makes it more private.
