Reviews for Parnell Creek RV Park

| Comfortable Stop

Easy access off US 72 with fair prices. It has gravel roads and sites that can be a bit muddy. If the campground were full some sites could be a bit close together. The sites are fairly level and the people who run the park are very pleasant. The restrooms are clean and functional if a bit simple. The location is fairly remote from anything but a convenience store. The park is well lighted and feels safe.

Agree with everything from 2015 review. Would add:. 1) alot of highway noise 2) advertised a pool, but it was closed during our 4 night stay 3) close to Scottsboro. 4) Good value for $27 with GS discount. Didn't use restrooms or laundry. Weren't given a password for WIFI, spotty service without it.

I found the camp ground quite clean with no mud. The gravel or concrete covers parking and walking place well. The office is only open from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM nobody answered the phone during off hours. The toilet and showers were new. An overall convenient place to stay if traveling through the area.

| Very noisy traffic

I agree with the other reviews, but I would stress the noise level. The park sits less than 50 yards from a very busy highway with lots of truck traffic, including an occasional trucker using his jake brake. If you have a sleep sound (white noise) machine, it will nullify most of the noise. We wouldn't be without one. I wouldn't spend a lot of time here, but overnight to visit the Scottsboro Unclaimed Baggage store is fine. The owners are nice & the park is clean & well kept.
