We stayed here for 1 night during our 2 week trip through the southeast. This park is situated on a large lake with views from nearly every site. Most sites are directly on the water. This is a small campground however it was not congested in the middle of summer. The camp host is very friendly and laid back. We arrived around 7pm and he came right out to greet us and give us our choice of sites. For 15$ this place was the cheapest and the prettiest we've stayed so far. My only complaint would have to be the ants. They are everywhere and when I woke up I noticed our entire bathroom infested with them......if it weren't for this I would have rated this park with 5 stars.

We are on the road for a month through the south east from Alpena Mi. We found this on rv Parky and could not believe it. It's a Sunday night April 8 2018. There was one other camper in the whole place. We were in spot 5 right on the water. With a cement patio, table, and grill looking at the water. There is a dump station right out the gate. Also great to walk pets. Beautiful wooded sights and surroundings are woods. About 10 miles south of I-10. Even pulled in 4 pbs channels on the tv. Highly recommend this place if you can get a spot.

| Camping Heaven for $15!

Stopped on our way along the Florida panhandle. Hurricane Michael debris was all along HWY 20. But, this park was cleaned up. It is small campground with only 15 sites. Haphazard arrangement of camp sites on gravel, but on a beautiful Lake Talquin just west of Tallahassee. The bathroom and showers are dated, no wifi, but fishing and boat docks and right here. You have to call to reserve. Leave a message and the office called me back on Sunday.
