Wonderful place to camp for the weekend. There were 22 spots with maybe only 6 others there. Nice lake you can fish in and a playground for the kids with lots of older equipment that we grew up playing on in good condition. Lots of trees. It had been raining so the ground was a little wet but not bad at all. The sites were gravel and were not pull thru but were considerable level. We had a nice bonfire in the provided fire rings (squares) and the bathrooms were in good condition and were not overly dirty. Would definitely stay here again.
Many of the sites (especially the full hookup sites) are small and close together, without much maneuvering room, so large rigs would be a challenge. It appears that most of the sites with water & electric only are more spacious. Rigs with slide outs using the tight, full hookup sites will require extra care and planning because of the water & electric risers right next to the parking surfaces. But where else can you stay with full utilities and watch the sun come up over the lake for $15? We stayed in a 28-foot fifth wheel on a Wednesday night in mid-April. There was one other similar RV, and one tent in the park, so it was very quiet. The wife was happy with this stay.
