This was our first trip to the Payson area. We found the park to be both convenient due to its location in town, but still rustic enough to have the pines standing tall around us. With the grand kids joining us, the pool and basketball courts were welcome diversions and they are saying it is the best weekend they ever had. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!
This is mainly long term residents. Very dusty kept our doors closed. Not big rig friendly but you can make it. We are 50 feet with motorcycle lift and 13 ft high. Challenging to miss trees when backing in.
Stayed here in June, 2016. Very nice park. Hilly, but easily maneuverable. They put us in a pull in site, which was good sized, but weird as our door and awning faced our neighbors door and awning. The campground had a local band on Saturday night and they were terrific! We all sat around and "grooved to the oldies". It was a lot of fun, and we would go back if in the area again.
We spent one night as we traveled to Phoenix. Quite hilly and tight but not too bad. Close to neighbors but clean spots. We will be back
In town but once in the campground it feels like you are in the country. Lots of trees and friendly staff. We will come back.
Not a bad place. The trees make you feel somewhat secluded, however, there is no cable TV.
Nearly all sites are at a significant angle. I tried their WiFi and could not even log on to Fidelity.
Reviewed 4 days ago NO REFUNDS! I made my reservation in May for 9 days in October. I didn't read the cancellation policy. I was going to Payson with a group, and this is where others were staying. In August, I found out that I couldn't go to Payson for medical reasons. I called to cancel. Michael said I could reschedule my days anytime during the next calendar year. The refund policy is that there are NO refunds. I asked to speak to a manager. I was promised a call, but no one has called. I felt like that since I cancelled 2 months before my scheduled dates, and that the dates (October) are in the busy season so that my lot will be easy to rent, and that I live in South Carolina so I am not likely to ever go to Payson, that a refund would have been appropriate.
