| Priorities not in line

Pecan/Sun has been working this park for some time making future improvements. They have been working on the club house/restrooms/laundry for over a year according to employees. The laundry facilities are up and running(credit card only), restrooms are not complete and there are currently shower/outhouses in place that are poorly maintained. We have been told that the club house is finished but have only found it to be open for private parties. It is never open throughout the day. The outhouse bathrooms do not have hand soap and by the end of the day very little if any toilet paper. The heated pool is inconsistently heated. There are many people that live here full time. The dumpster is regularly full/overflowing. There is also currently a lot of interstate construction in the area and a lot of airplane/military jet noise as you are near the airport. The positive is that the sites are large and the employees are nice. The grounds are groomed. Management does disclose that they are working on things, but do not tell you the length of time it takes to complete these jobs. Their contractor should be fired.

| Beautiful RV Park

Not sure why this place would get anything less than 5 stars. The customer service was exceptional. The place is beautifully landscaped and immaculately maintained. Roads all paved and smooth for easy access to the nice flat and roomy FHU pull thru sites. Beautiful, modern and clean bathrooms, laundry room and gorgeous, inviting pool. Right off I-95 but no road noise. You hear some plane traffic from airport but nothing that disturbed us. Love it and will return.

Always stay at Pecan Park when in Jacksonville. Easy on/off i95. Nice pool, laundry, bathhouse, cable and WiFi. No trees for shade. Nice dog park. Plane noise didn't bother us. Check Sun RV website for discount rate.

| Clean but devoid of nature

This place is right off 95 north of Jacksonville. Good rest stop if you need it. Very clean bathrooms, laundry, pool area, and helpful staff. However, this place is a giant parking lot with a small patch of grass in between each very level concrete pad, and most of the trees have been removed from the area. It is also in the airport flight path, and some military jets also regularly fly overhead early in the morning.

This is a great park that is very well maintained. Bathrooms are always sparkling clean, top notch laundry room, a common kitchen/rec room, clean paved level pull thru lots. No complaints at all except for that it's next to an airport. It didn't bother us at all as our a/c drowned out the noise but it might be a bit much if your a very light sleeper that's sensetive to noise. Would definitely stay here again.
