| Free over night parking in the RV overflow

By user-5855269... on 2017-10-23.

My wife and I have boondocked in the RV overflow. Security is good and the area feels very safe. Even turned on the generator with no complaints. Just use common sense, don't be all loud and ruin it for everyone park in the overflow parking. The overflow is now on Wolf Creek Dr, just passing the Pechanga gas station. Make a right from Pechanga Parkway onto Wolf Creek Dr and then a quick left at first driveway. Then just follow the signs to the RV overflow. When your ready to go to the casino call for a shuttle, the number are on ever shuttle stop.

This is one of my favorite RV parks. It's not cheap but it's clean, safe and has excellent facilities. If you like to gamble the casino is one of the nicest as well. It's a short walk if you need a bit of exercise or there is plenty of parking. If you prefer, the shuttle is available 24/7 to run you back and forth.

| Be aware of ongoing construction nearby

This park continues to be a model of contradictions. It was recently awarded the best RV park in the U.S. by Motorhome magazine . . . Not even close. For inland So Cal . . . Maybe. First issue is that you can reserve specific sites. Ever wonder why most parks won't guarantee you a specific site? It's so others won't have to move a couple of different times during an extended stay! We planned far enough ahead to avoid this, but I talked to at least 3 RV'ers who were very unhappy about it. These were experienced RV'ers who have visited the truly top echelon RV resorts. Second issue is the enforcement of provided rules. Security is constantly patrolling. I was told by another RV'er, who was reprimanded for a violation, that security reports violations to the office, who then give you a written warning the next day. In the past, the office clearly said that security was to be called to enforce the rules. Change of policy or a shell game? All in all, the park is a great choice, but it truly seems as though management has no RV'ing experience. This visit, the very biggest grip, voiced by people all over the park, was the ongoing, round the clock noise from the massive construction going on all around the resort. We always use white noise, so it really wasn't an issue for us, but almost everyone I talked to brought it up. Finally, I happened to see a 45' DP towing a big enclosed trailer, turn way too early to get to the park. The turn is located just before the gas station. If you miss it, take the right hand turn just past the gas station. The park is not the best in the U.S., but with enforcement of the rules & management familiar with the nuisances of RV'ers, it certainly has potential.

| Good park

The stay was nice, but the dog park was terrible. My pug refused to use it as it smelled so bad. It needs to have some method of washing down the urine or be sprayed with bleach. We have stayed in lots of parks, but this one had the worst dog facility. Otherwise it was a great stay.

| Really Nice RV Park

By user-6248847... on 2017-10-23.

Im s so tired of people using this rate there experience of the surrounding area and not the campsites. I was here in April 2016 with friends and family. All of the sites are level, landscaped, and well manicured. The staff was friendly and helpfull with our needs. The pool well maintained. I have traveled all over the Southwest and up and down the Pacific Coast and this us one of the nicest well maintained and landscaped RV parks I have stayed in. So after a day in Temecula wine country and enjoying entertainment at the casino coming back to a place like this at the end of the day is icing in the cake.

We stayed there in April 2017. As there are renovation works going on, it's a little noisy but the place is nice, well kept, with friendly staff and a nice little pool. The sites are leveled. I would recommend it.

| Nice park but........

By user-6159825... on 2017-10-23.

Nice park. Have stayed in this park before. However, this time we are currently staying near the parking structure and there is a lot of traffic noise from the entry road and the parking structure all night. Delivery trucks all the time and employees burning rubber out of the parking lot with loud exhausts after their shifts. This really changed my mind about my previous 5 star rating. Stay away from the front of the park. Too noisy.

| Enforce quiet hours!

By user-5322224... on 2017-10-23.

We've stayed at this beautiful facility many times over the last two years because we have family nearby. While it is a very popular, very nice park, it is not without its faults. If you have a tall rig with multiple slide-outs be very aware of tree branches. While the office indicates that they will send someone to prune them for you (which I have never done - we know which sites avoid the issue), a park of this caliber should be anticipating maintenance issues like this. (Be advised that afternoon winds will move those branches considerably.) The focus seems to be on upgrading more sites to the expensive, premium sites. While these sites are nice, some really nice, what you really gain is a picnic table, which is lacking at the other sites. Biggest issue I have with the park is the lack of enforcement of quiet hours, which are some of the very shortest ever. While the park is heavily patrolled, excessively boisterous behavior is tolerated. Weekends can be a problem. The office will tell you that with a phone call, security will address the issue. That was not the case for one of neighbors, who had a repeatedly bad experience with another of their neighbors that I witnessed on the second night (& had to intervene). Security failed to respond when contacted either night. They did drive by and ignore the noise, however at around midnight. Perhaps this is why so many RV'ers spend Sunday thru Wednesday night in the park then move to the free RV parking lot near the gas station. More likely it is that Passport America is available for some sites during the weekdays. The park is very convenient to Temecula's many fine boutique wineries. A free shuttle is available to the casino the park exists for. Recently a non-smoking area in the casino has been added. While we do not gamble, we always enjoy at least one dinner at Kelsey's which offers both adult beverages and casual dining. The park itself is 5 star. Enforcement of rules is 1 star.

| Great place. Passport America accepted.

Passport America accepted for weekdays. Ask if there during the week and staying over the weekend as well and likely they will allow the PA rate extended for the weekend as well.

| Xmas visit

By user-5891563... on 2018-03-14.

Apparently enforcing rules do not exist. Around us at least 3 group parties in spaces E-9, E10, E-8 and E-11 do not have to keep dogs on leashes. They were allowed to go from site to site without a leash and to be in camp site without supervision or a leash or control. It is a shame that some patrons appear to be above the rules, as if they had an absolute right to do what they wanted. You would think they owned this park. What a shame. Stayed from 12/15 to 12/29. Unfortunately these people came I on 12/27.

| No free overflow

By user-4647964... on 2018-05-17.

I just called. They do not let you stay free in the overflow lot. It is only for people that of camp there for 29 days and have to move for A-day. That's OK. I will just gamble at a friendlier casino

As always this place is beautiful! Facilities are extremely clean, everything was quiet, buses to and from the casino were quick and pick you up at your RV. I love it here.

Fancy place big sites got half off with PA so for $25 was great. But I lost so much in casino that cost me 3 times the normal overnight rate....

By user-4510785... on 2019-08-09.

Nice resort. Good prices. Very nice sites. Quiet if your here during the week. The place gets full on the weekends, and some people feel they don't need to keep their dogs in a leash. Will stay again, but not on a weekend.

| Awesome grounds

By user-6313141... on 2019-08-09.

Very well kept and clean. They have expanded with a lot of new sites and pull throughs. The casino shuttle will come right to your camp site and pick you up.
