Short term this park is great. But after a week or two the cons start to wear on you. We arrived an hour before the actual check in time of 1pm. There was no one in the spot they assigned us so we asked if we could pull in to the spot. We were told we would have to pay a $25 early arrival fee if we did. So, we had to do down the street and park at the beach for an hour. At 1pm we came back and just drove into our spot. I think this was ridiculous as there were plenty of empty spots including the one we were assigned. This park is very pricey. But, it is in a great location. Walking access to just about anything you want bars, restaurants, beach stores, shops. The beach is on one side of the road and the Santa Rosa sound is right on the park side. They don't guarantee you a spot they'll stick you in anywhere they want. It's too bad because some spots are really bad and you would never want to be in them and then the rest are pretty nice. The showers and restrooms are very very clean. The park has some basic rules but it seems nobody abides by them. The owner has an apartment and has 2-3 dogs out on his porch that yip and bark all the time starting at 7 am. Anytime anyone walks by they start. Don't expect to sleep past 7am. Other issues, your neighbors connections are about 2 to 3 feet from your picnic table even the sewer connection. Sprinklers come on and spray your picnic table from 7-9 AM so you can't sit out and have coffee in the morning. The beach for the park is all sharp shells. Kind of a dirty beach compared to across the street at the public beach. Wifi and cable tv keeps going out. I would come back to this park only because of all that is around here and the easy access to everything and it is the only one in this location.
Lovely location on barrier island with several spots overlooking the water and a small beach. Bathrooms are nicely appointed and painted in decorator colors. Two of the bathrooms are handicapped friendly with hand wands. Two small dog runs are a plus for the pups.
Loved the location! Tiki bar on site right on the beach ( sound side). Variable hours due to the rain we had during our stay. Walk across the street to the Gulf side and enjoy walks on the beach and bushwackers. Laundry facility on site, very clean. Coin operated. $1.50 wash $1.50 dry, 50 minute cycles. Clean bathrooms. Centrally located outdoor heated pool. Property grounds very clean and maintained. Two fenced in dog parks for potty needs. Would stay again in a heart beat. Hope to be back with them during Blue Angels weekend!
Level concrete parking pads. Good wifi and cable. Tiki bar on-site on the bay was amazing. Big sites, easy in and out. Highly recommend
We love this place right on the water. Great well kept grounds and big spots. Lots of activity with people and community BBQ grills and a recently added Tiki Bar right on the beach/water. We only stayed one night but also spent a night here a few years ago. Someday we will spend a week or two here and soak in the spectacular sunsets from the Tiki Bar!
We just returned from this RV park after 5 days and really liked it. We had a good sized site. All sites are very level and on a concrete pad. There were some sites I would not want and they won't guarantee a site. You get what you get. Beautifully maintained. Beach on the sound is nice with lounge chairs and some covered seating. Tiki bar was busy, but was never a problem. Lots of young locals hang out there, but again, not a problem. Workers were very friendly. A few minor cons...bath house and laundry is on 2nd floor of the office building, pool is very small and sprinklers kept our picnic table wet, and we arrived an hour early and had to pay 25.00 extra for early arrival.. Also, the dog area is tiny and just a patch of the yard.We will go back. We travelled in a TT 28 ft.
