Reviews for Periwinkle Park & Campground

| Won't honor their website

By user-5824752... on 2017-10-23.

We called ahead to confirm that we could roll in after hours and park in one of their three spots outside the gate. All good. Their website says very clearly that staying in one of those spots outside the gates warranted a discount (presumably because we didn't use any facilities except electric for the 10 hrs we were there). We were there in off season which posts a $40.00 per night rate inside the facility. We left to go shelling and came back to pay before 9am, but the lady we paid wouldn't honor the website and said that a discount only applied during high season, in contrast to the website's indication. She also seemed to indicate that if we had wanted a discount we should have parked in the driveway and not one of the three very obvious pull in spots for campers. A business who advertises one thing and doesn't honor it is in my opinion not worth anyone's patronage.

| Great place to stay on Sanibel

We have stayed here three times at high season. A condo on Sanibel goes for about $2,500 a week in high season. $58 a night is a bargain for this time of year. Twins spring training, Ding Darling wildlife refuge, shelling on the beach and great sunsets - its all good.

| Not Dog Friendly on a Dog friendly island?

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.

They do not accept dogs here? It s a dog friendly island. Why else would anyone choose to own an RV but to be able to travel with all family members? I mean rvs are a pain in the butt, the only reason to own one is so you can bring your best doggie friend. Huge fail! Wish I could give no stars.

We had a fabulous 3 weeks at Periwinkle Park. Park is clean, quite and friendly. Great location to bike to beach, stores, Restaurants. Friendly neighborhood in Paradise.

We arrived late and called on the way, stayed at spots outside the gates with full hookups. Checked in the next morning and was in awe the entire stay, clean restrooms, laundry and shower facilities. The beauty and beaches were breathtaking. The only drawback is no dogs. This is truly a tropical paradise.

| Great stop!

We spent a couple of days here before heading to the Keys. It was quiet and clean. Just a short walk to the beach.
