On our way to Montana we found Peter D's, it was around 7:30pm and the office was closed. There was a note on the door for late comers without reservations that space's 1 to 5 were open for non reservations. Pulled in hooked up electricity, sewer, cable TV and had a pleasant night's sleep. The bath house was warm, clean and private. In the morning Peter was at the office for us to pay and he was very friendly. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

With Good Sam $35.20 per night for 1 week stay. Pros: clean park & bathrooms, all sites pull-thru, nice spots, quiet, close to downtown. Spots located north & south for shade Cons: spots a little tight between rigs, no trees for shade. Would stay again :-)

| A true gem

Pete and his wife, who run the camp feel like friends as soon as you check in. The grounds are beautiful and exceptionally well cared for, with a really nice dog run on the hill to the east. Lots are level and large enough for big rigs towing a car or long fifth wheels. After roaming around for almost three weeks, this was our favorite camp. Will be back for sure.

| Other than very poor WI-FI and narrow sites -Perfect.

By user-4867560... on 2017-10-23.

Very clean and managed park. Great for overnight or several days to visit Big Horn. Ask about the mule deer that pass close to the back sites. WI-FI is virtually not existent. Cable TV is good but not many choices. CNN is the only news available. I have a 35 ft fifth-wheel. Just under $40 for my site after Good Sam. The lots are level and mostly pull through.

Sheridan, WY . . . Nice park . . each site had a nice green patch of grass but no trees for any type of shade. Had a dog run up the hill. Hosts were nice & friendly; clean laundry & restrooms. Our only complaint . . . sites are too close together and with so many big rigs the wifi reception is bad. Being there for 6 days, it would've been nice if the owners had mowed the grass . . it got pretty tall. Would stay there again if we ever pass thru Sheridan again. (nd)

| Great small park that's clean & close to I-90.

By user-5794019... on 2017-10-23.

Stayed here 9/7/16 and really enjoyed it. Even though it's close to freeway, it's quiet and we'll maintained. Restrooms & showers very nice and clean!

| Nice family owned rv park

By user-6212686... on 2017-10-23.

Stayed there for two nights while visiting friends. Very Satified. Owners were exceptionally friendly. Only issue is you could hear the train going through town during the middle of the night, at all hours, blowing their whisles. Train tracks about a 1/4 mile away. Other than that, it was far enough off I-90 to not have much traffic noise. I would highly recommend this rv park.

| The good, bad and colorful

We were curious about what staying here would be like after reading so many online reviews about the owner Pete. He did turn out to be an interesting fellow, but not all bad. Good and bad... GOOD: -Clean. I mean, CLEAN. Pete and his wife obviously take great pride in caring for this RV park and it shows. -Pete very helpful in recommending restaurants, sights in area, etc. Knowledgeable and proud of this area. - His wife had fresh garden vegetables in the office and offered them up complimentary. They were delicious, and a real treat after being on the road and having too many processed meals! YUM. BAD: - Sites are too small. Too close together, making it more like a parking lot with a tiny grass area between each site to separate. Didn't even put awning out because it would have literally been inches from neighbors rig. - Picnic tables sit right next to your neighbors sewer line. Umm yuck. So about this Pete guy. We were fortunate in that we didn't break or bend any of his rules, so he was cool with us. But I can see what people are talking about as far as him being a stickler to his rules. Rules, by the way, which aren't really posted. He has just a few written rules in writing, and then I guess the rest are rules he enforces case by case? You have to park your tow just so, making sure it does not stick out in any way, not turned sideways, etc. No doggies on the lawn except for the dog area and the hills. He will get ya! Keep your animals quiet, keep your kids quiet, don't dare drive over 5mph. He's looking. And lurking. And will let you know if he is not pleased. Even though we personally were never "reprimanded" for anything, it still makes for an uncomfortable stay, feeling on pins and needles. So I'd say this is a fine park for an overnight stay, if you aren't in need of settling in to a roomy site and setting up any sort of camp. Could not find a cleaner park with hosts more engaged in their property. But if looking for a true campground with room to breath, this is not the best choice. Loved Sheridan, by the way. A most awesome community!

| Very Easy Late Check in Without a Reservation

By user-6397101... on 2017-10-23.

We rolled in around 9 pm. The sites available and the procedure for paying were clearly posted. The sites were easy to pull into and the site very nice and well maintained. Our 60 pound dog was able to run and play in the large enclosed dog park.

| Terrific place

By user-5687126... on 2017-10-23.

Right off the highway. This is a gem. Pete is extremely friendly. They have a great dog run, clean showers, laundry and a library. They even have cable Great overnight spot. They do not however have fire rings. Great place would definitely be back

By user-5826043... on 2017-10-23.

Small but nice. Checked in late and walked around the loop. Friendly campers had good things to say about their stay. 1 couple had stayed all summer Would stay again and recommend.

| Trains?

By user-6255346... on 2017-10-23.

Who ever wrote those train comments must be the competition! Great guy here and for Wyoming first class rv park, but trains, not a one heard! Probably best rv park in Wyoming, wifi & good cable!

It says there's no laundry, but there is now. Great place for the pets to run. In a pen or out on the hill if they are well behaved. The only bad thing about the wifi is if there is another rig blocking you it won't work. The host is very friendly and helpful. I could have changed spots for the wifi, but just wasn't up to it at the time. We are just in for the night heading back from Yellowstone to Devils tower and Mount Rushmore.

| Great stopping place

By user-5804917... on 2017-10-23.

Great spot... Peter D is very nice guy. Easy on and off of I-90. It's not fancy but it is very comfortable. Clean showers and laundry... If we pass through this way again We will stop!!! Paid $39.60 with Good Sam discount. 60' pull-thru... Fhu with cable.

| Great park

Agree with much of The good, bad and colorful. All sites are drive thru that are close to each other. The sewer lines being next to picnic table was solved by moving the table. Could/did open awning as there was no one on either side of us. The bathrooms are always spotless. Fresh and free veggies helped chicken and dumplings taste even better!

This is our third stay at Peter D s. We love Sheridan. The park is immaculately clean. Peter takes great pride in ownership. He has always been extremely nice to us. I ve read reviews that say he can be a stickler about his rules, and if you break them he is not shy about calling you on it. We ve not experienced that. I guess we re rules followers, so all good! His wife has a vegetable garden and offers up fresh veggies free of charge. She also sells home made jams and jellies in the office. The enclosed dog park is fantastic. Our dogs love it. Also very conveniently located, and easy off and on freeway. My only complaint of Peter D s is that the sites are extremely tight. As in, roll your canopy out and it is inches away from your neighbor kind of tight! But there is grass in between and picnic tables. I suppose if we were to have an extended stay the small sites would be annoying. Overall, good RV park, and Sheridan is a gem of a city to visit!

| Super clean, but ...

By user-4943845... on 2019-08-09.

We pulled into this RV Park shortly before 5 pm for a one night stay. Convenient to the highway, so we thought, okay! At check in the owner gave us fresh veggies from the onsite garden, a great recommendation for dinner (Wyoming Chop & Steakhouse~incredible) we went to sleep happy and well fed. In the morning, however, the owner starts knocking on the door at 9 am to remind us of checkout time (11 am) he knocked twice more, each time getting increasingly nasty. As he walked away fe the last encounter, my husband heard him mutter don t bother to come back. He won t have to worry about that, we never will!

Clean, green, great dog park and area for the dog to run free. Spaces are a bit close. The owner is really nice and has rules. Follow them. Trust that everyone will be following the rules and everyone will have a quiet, nice stay.

Level gravel sites, full hook-ups with sewer. Good Wi-Fi. Nice place for an overnight stay. Sites are very close together. Pretty loud train noise.
