| Nice State Park
This is a large state park along the Big Sur River. Standard sites are $35 and river sites are $50. One area is surrounded by towering redwood trees. We stayed at the far end where there was more sunlight. Well maintained park, although the sites would be tight for larger RV's. Excellent for small trailers and tents. Restrooms and in good condition, although you need to purchase tokens for showers. My husband said it took one token just to heat the water and another to shower (3.5 minutes each). We used the laundry facilities as well. Overall, a nice place to stay.
