| A Georgetown Lake Gem

This Forest Service campground is on the shores of Georgetown Lake and offers both great views of the lake, as well as a meadow and marshy area where wildlife like deer, elk and moose can be seen. The sites are spaced a good distance from each other and each site is spacious with a paved pad, a picnic table, and a fire ring. Several bathrooms (single-seat latrines) and water pumps are located throughout. Our site didn't have water, electric or sewer, but on one of our walks around the campground, we saw hookups at other sites. No wifi, but lots of wilderness, so this is a perfect place to unplug and relax for a little while.

Stayed overnight on a Friday, it is popular and fills early, so early arrival recommended. Wonderfully sized lots just as earlier reviewer stated, easy to get rig into (30' 5th wheel). Bathrooms pit but CLEAN, not smelly (except cigarette smell b4 me). With our Senior Pass rate Unbeatable.
