Phillips RV Park is a family owned operation and it shows. The campgrounds are well taken care of with large sites and nice shady trees. The price is fair for being right off of I-80 and you get Free cable and wifi. The wifi is strong and fast. It is a great place to stay.

It's amazing this park is in business! While it's a decent park, the owner/Manager needs to get her priorities straight if the cg is to stay in business.

| What an owner

By user-5888449... on 2017-10-23.

The park was great. Clean, shady, nice grass. The owner doesn't smile, greet you or show any sign that she cares whether you're a customer or not. Slaps a form down in front of you and grunts at you. The park has large spaces and easy to get in and out.

Grandson who was working the desk kept my change and lied about it later. They stuck by him and treated me like the criminal. Absolutely unacceptable.

| Cheap and Cheerful, but....

By user-5291000... on 2017-10-23.

Stopped overnight on our road trip to Iowa. Guy in the office was super nice and helpful. Our spot was awkward to get into due to a huge bush - avoid pitch 9 if you have a big rig. At 29' it wasn't easy. Only major downside was the trains that rumble past and are super close. Frighteningly close!! Campground looks well kept but it isn't luxury. Cheap and cheerful sums it up perfectly. Great little pitstop.....if you like trains.

Sites are close together, no fires allowed, running sprinklers from 5 pm to 6:30. Well maintained, KOA type campground.

| Park Very Nice...Manager No So Much

By user-5799612... on 2017-10-23.

This is a beautiful well kept park with lot of lush grass and trees. It's a multi-generational family owned park. The elderly "father" is a gem and very pleasant. However, watch out for the "daughter" who manages the park. She is very curt and appears to care more about the grounds than her clients.

This is a nice park for an overnight stop if you find yourself in this area. The sites are nice gravel sites, with grass in between, and full hookups including cable TV. They offer a 20% discount to Good Sam members who pay cash. Credit card gets 10%. They are right off of I80 with easy on and off access.

| Good park for a stopover.

Clean bathrooms. Reasonably priced. We paid $30/night after 20% discount for Good Sam members who pay cash. FHU, 50 amp, pull-thru site. Be sure to use a water pressure regulator as their water pressure is high! We camp in a 37-ft. fifth wheel.

Great little park. Not easy to find in the dark and out of season. But still had electricity out of season. Great!

I reserved in advanced and call on the day to confirm, but they only told me showers and toilets were out of order when I arrived 35 miles from nearest alternative (which I went to). They volunteered big discount for cash and you know what that means. Not good people to deal with.

| Phillips RV Park 7/2018

The place is really clean and shady. The office lady was not friendly. Very curt and matter of fact. Be prepared to sleep with AC on as it is pretty noisy outside. We spent one night and would stay again.

| Must Love Trains

We would not stay in the park again. No one was there when we got there so we just pulled into the closest spot to wait for the office to open again. She was very curt and almost rude but told us we could stay where we were. The people In the space next to us had been there a while with three big dogs. Their dogs did their business in our front yard and it was a mess. We could not go out our door without having to watch where we stepped. The restrooms and showers were still out of order. Not maintained very well. We stayed in a motor home towing a car.

Just grateful to have a place to camp! They had two spaces plowed out. It was dark when we got there and then left fairly early so didn t really get a chance to look around but it seems like a large area.

Good location, nice bear river trail and a few bites to eat right around the corner, clean and green, crappy wifi

| Rare Gem, great park

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.

We have stayed in 9 diff. parks since we left Fla over a week ago. I found this park on this app & it sounded good, was on our route so we decided to stay here. So glad we did. This is the best place we have stayed so far. Many of the other parks were highly rated & they were ok but this place is better than we expected. The sites are spacious with beautiful trees. The price is great & they are a Good Sam Park. This park has been run by the same family over 80 plus years. Everything here is immaculate. We are close to the interstate & there is noise but it isn't that bad. We would stay here again & recommend other travelers to stop in.

| Lots of trees

Called night before and reserved. Had no vacancy by 7:00. Good bathhouse and showers. Definitely need a water pressure regulator for hookups. Showers could have a little more room to dress, but we managed. Only stayed one night.
