RRM, who runs the campground for TVA, is widening some of the campsites so campers have room to park their boats beside their camper. Very good addition for folks that camp here to fish
Water, electric, tables, fire ring, bbq provided overlooking the river. Very nice camp hosts.
Nice campground just across the road from the Tennessee River. The campground is clean and well mowed. The bathhouses were clean but need updating. Sites are graveled and level. Some sites are reserved and some are first come, first served. Camp management was friendly and helpful.
A little hidden gem just below the Pickwick dam near Counce, TN. Water and elec. only, but the sites are very large, and the park it's very quiet. I was told by more than one person, "just pick an open spot and the folks who need to collect the money will find you." Sites are $20 a night. Highly recommend.
Stayed here for a few nights in a 34ft 5th wheel. Sites are fairly level, most are crushed gravel. Long enough for big campers and fine for small ones. Walking the dogs along the river and dam was nice. Bath houses do need an update, but get the job done.
Probably will not open for 2019 season due to extreme flood damage. Road surface and toilets washed away. I ve stayed here over several years and it is a very good site once functional again. The whole below dam area was flooded.
