Lots to do. See the bluffs, waterfall, great trails to hike or motorcycle up the Mississippi. Very clean and well kept. Bathrooms and shower are great. Staff is friendly and great communication. Quiet time is enforced. Large grass sites available.
Stopped overnight. Park was quite. Spots was fairly level. The section we stayed in was better designed for small campers. I have a truck camper and wax pulling a small boat. I wax able to fit in the spot without unhooking the trailer. Just enough room. Showers and bathrooms were clean. I would stay here again.
Sunday morning at 6AM the noise starts. People packing up to leave before breakfast, kids yelling, and dogs barking. Walmart parking lot by a busy highway would be quieter.
Nice campground, friendly park hosts. Some sites are laid out a little "funny" for electrical hookup on wrong side. Restrooms clean and nice. We just stayed overnight and would do it again. $15/night.
Set on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi this park has it all. Very pleasant surroundings trails shaded sites clean bathrooms nice staff and cheap.
Crowded campground with sites very close together. Electric only and no hookups sites. Water available st dump station. Every other site has electric connection on wrong side. Kids and dogs everywhere. People walking through your site and kids screaming and riding bikes through your site. So many campfires that the smoke obscures vision and breathing. Nice bathrooms and showers but not big enough for the number of campers. Reasonable price at $16 for electric site.
