The road is extremely narrow and winding. Not enough room for cars let alone campers. We would not feel comfortable taking our fifth wheel along this road. Low hanging tree branches. The campground was fairly nice though. Only half the sites had water and electric. The rest were primitive. Nice boat ramp and playground. Glad we checked it out first.
After hearing Deliverance music at the previous Campground we tried to stay in, this Campground is a slice of Heaven. We arrived late in the evening and were able to call the Army Corps of Engineers reservation system and got a person to personally make the reservation. The fellow was very helpful and made the reservation for us quickly. This is an Army Corps of Engineers campsite. If you have the lifetime Geezer pass that camping fees are half price. So we paid $10 per night for electric and water and they do have a dump station. I will post a picture of what it look like when we got here it is literally A Slice of Heaven.
