Adequate but not fancy

We live in the area and went to Pin Oak for a quick overnight trip on a nice weekend. The place has been around for a number of years but is, for the most part maintained well. Exceptions: sites need more gravel (we're a little muddy), game room doubles as a junk room and mini-golf needed a leaf blower and general attention. On the plus side it was easy to get in/out of, pool and laundry facilities clean and no shortage of staff zipping around in golf carts. The price was good too; about 2/3 of the KOA just down the road in Eureka, MO.Overall I'd say it is a good family campground.

Nice quiet friendly staff

I stayed here for a week and loved the park! The staff is super friendly, the park is quiet.
Very well kept Park.
I'll definitely keep this one on my list for when I'm on the area.
I stayed here in a 39 ft motorhome. The site was long enough to park at least 2 cars with my motorhome.
Beautiful mossy lake with walking bridges and trails.

Older campground but quite nice!

We stayed here for a weekend getaway and we had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our site was great and was very spacious, I saw other spots that were packed in pretty tight though. Our 3 kids loved the pool, it was clean and well kept. The playground was older but in working order and acceptable. The putt-putt golf was a lot of fun, it could use a little maintenance and would be nice if they swept it periodically to clear the leaves, branches and debris. The lake has LOTS of moss in it making it hard to fish without having to clean off your hooks after every cast. The grounds were well kept and clean. The bath houses and laundry areas were clean and well kept for their age. The game room is nothing fancy, but it was fun to play air hockey and skee ball. I completely agree with another reviewer about needing a curfew for the golf carts. Overall nice campground with fun activities. Area around lake was very nice & peaceful. We would definitely return!

Tight spaces. Not motor home friendly. Expensive. This place is for weekend drunks out of St. Louis. Narrow roads blocked by dually pickups making your morning exit extremely difficult. There are better choices.

Family friendly, quiet in the evening,friendly staff.
All around great place to camp.

Decent Property, Friendly Staff

Stayed only one night, but I could see staying here longer. Friendly staff, well-trimmed trees, decent camp store. Easy to get to from interstate. Quiet. Stayed with our 35 fifth wheel with easy navigation thru park.

Paintball too

What a nice park. Something to do for everyone, rental bikes, mini golf, game room, very nice shop, and paintball.
There is also a batting cage and nice creek to walk along. If you ever wanted to have a paintball course to your self, this is the place to be. Bring your teams, camp in a beautiful park, and battle each other all day.
Staff was awesome and very friendly. Wish we had stayed longer. We are booked through July and this was a last minute pit stop.

Hookup in the camper. From the moment you arrive the staff is there to assist. Nice little store with any items you might need or you want to meed more of! Beers, ice, eggs, soft serve ice cream, etc. an arcade , mini golf, daily activities. really enjoyed the park. Small spots but we didn t do premium, but will definitely go back. Local people are the friendliest!
