This place was great. We were on the road and called to check availability. They said they were booked solid. Thirty minutes later, they used their caller id and called us back to say they had a cancelation. We experienced wonderful customer service. The pool was clean and cold. The splash pool was perfect for little kids. They have the nicest playground that I have seen at a campground. The downside was no fire rings. Great time pine grove. Thanks.

This is a great place to stay for a night. Even though it is close to the interstate it was pleasant, clean and well maintained. Will stay again and perhaps try to extend our time there.

We stopped by for a one night and the host made a big deal about is not having a reservation with one host telling us lucky we were to find a spot (There was about 25 spots open when we awoke the next morning). Then after we paid I was lectures for several minutes about all the things not allowed at the park. The wifi was limited to one device with each additional device prices at $9.99. The restrooms were about average and the laundry was unique in that there were 4 washers and eight dryers. The pizza parlor / bar they advertise closes when the office does about 8 pm. Hard to watch the game on the big screen if they close before the 3 Rd inning.

Nice park right off the freeway. Some noise but not to bad. Park has a grill and bar. Little expensive but we really enjoyed the area. We would return.

| Clean, nice pool, good hookups

Positive experience. But don't be surprised when you drive along the side st. To RV park when you see a wrecking yard with large RVs... that's not the place.

Pine Grove RV Park Review Title: BE FOREWARNED! First, the good news: It has easy access from the Interstate. The sites are wide with full hookups. General appearance is clean and well maintained. Trash is picked up daily at your site. There is a pool, restaurant and bar inside, although we did not use any of them. Now, the bad news: You will pay a high price, as if staying in a top rated resort, however, this is not one. Bring your earplugs if you stay! Between the interstate traffic, the Nascar track, and the occasional train, you will need them. Thank goodness, there was a thunderstorm the night of the car race, and it was halted about 11pm. We had read the reviews about the noise, but needed to be about half way between Lincoln and Omaha. The sewer drop is just a straight piece of PVC coming out of the ground. Your sewer elbow doesn t want to stay in while dumping, thus making a smelly mess on the ground. The grass was tall and needed to be mowed, especially since they do not allow any ground mats outside. Because all the sites are gravel, they need to do something about the grass growing in the gravel. The laundry room smelled musty and was filthy. Some reviewers complained about all the rules, however, most RV parks do have most of the same. Our biggest complaint is this: I was traveling through on business. I had paid for 4 nights in advance to be between Lincoln and Omaha. However, on the 2nd day, I found out my schedule needed to be changed and I asked for a refund for the last 2 nights. After calling, then going by the office, and then waiting for a phone call, I was told that at this time, we are not giving any refunds . With that said, I had to reschedule my meetings for the next 2 days. We researched the website, all their literature, and no where did it say, NO REFUNDS. However, in the laundry room, there was another set of rules that stated on the last line, that refunds were not allowed for weekly or monthly . We paid nightly, not weekly, and should have been refunded. The staff was not friendly, nor helpful with our requests. We will NOT ever return to this campground.

We were on I-80 traveling west on Aug. 4th. I called ahead to Pine Grove to see if sites were available. I was quoted a price of $27.50 for an electric site for one night. When we arrived, we were charged $40.00. When I questioned it, the girl said she was new so another clerk (the one who I talked to on the phone) tried to help her credit us and then charge us the quoted rate. I had to go to the car to get my credit card for the supposed credit. When I came back in, the phone girl stated that she made a mistake when she quoted us the price over the phone and all sites were $40.00 and she could not honor the price that she gave us about an hour earlier - even though she just told me she would be able to credit me. I asked to speak to a manager and she said someone would call me - no one ever did. I called the next campground down the road, but they were already full so I had no choice but to stay here. I feel that the quoted price should have stood and that's what we should have been charged. The only other thing I can say about this campground is there are and excessive amount of speed bumps. Obviously, so close to the interstate there was also a lot of traffic noises. I would not recommend this campground to anyone!

We wanted to find a nice place near Omaha to visit family and I found this great place! Didn t want to pay KOA prices and with our Good Sams discount this was right in our budget. Amenities include Pool, nice store with snack bar, tennis and volleyball courts, no cable but who cares, Internet works great. The sites are nicely spaced apart, gravel and grass is cut nice. No fire pits , I would definitely recommend this place again.

I would rate the actual campground higher- the sites are clean although there are only fire pits on a few and every camper on each site has wood under one side so it s not very level across the grounds. The pool is pretty clean and there s an old not shady playground for the kids. So I thought it would be perfect for my family. Until I got yelled at like a child for everything I did. They had three lounge chairs so I brought my own beach chair in. Got yelled at. Tried to save a frog out of their pool. Got yelled at for keeping their door open bc I didn t want to come in their office dripping wet. better customer service would go a long way. Get off your high horse and treat your customers w Respect.
