We come here every year on our way to Peoskey..just a great place to drop the trailer and head in to Frankenmuth for some of that good german food...no frills here just good clean restrooms, nice people, very secure..see you in July thank you
This park is very clean. Ask for a campsite in the back to make sure your in the shade. A much more affordable camp ground if you don't want a pool and all that other stuff you probably won't use anyways.
Other than the woman who handled reception being rather odd, we found it to be a well managed decent campground with lots of tall trees. Laundry room is huge with only 2 washers & two dryers. Quite clean. We didn't use their public washrooms, so cannot comment. We were there for a Sunday overnight during the last week in September 2016, very quiet, maybe 10% full.
Nice park for visiting Frankenmuth or Birch run but that's the highlights of this park for such high rates. Park playground equipment is dated, no dog park. Most sewers are so high you are unable to drain your holding tanks causing sewage gas to enter your rig. Office staff is extremely unprofessional, staff will pick up and hang up phone in the office with customers present. Staff will not rerun calls left on the answering machine. Make sure not to over book because you will not get a refund.
That charge $3.00 for someone to visit. That is just wrong.
Great campground. First time in this area and I am well pleased with people who operate the campground and the rates. Camp sites are gravel and level making set up easy. Will visit again if in area.
Great place to stay if you want to experience Frankenmuth the Bonners Chridtmas Store very reasonable well maintained not suitable for young children not much to do in the park. Birchrun outlet 5 minutes away.
This park is conveniently located to the stores and restaurants in Frankenmuth. All sites have full hookups with electric, water and sewer. The restrooms and laundry are centrally located. Didn't check the bath house but did use the laundry. There are only 2 washers and dryers, but that's all I needed. The machines were clean and reasonably priced.
First trip in our new Class C. Spent the morning at Bonner’s and checked in @ 2. Very nice staff friendly and helpful. It was rainy and wet the ground was covered with leaves. Didn’t check out the bathhouse. Good sized lot for our 24 Footer. Will be back to stay again.
The last weekend of October 2017 was our first ever trip with our new Class C RV. We found this sight online and upon review decided to make the reservation. So glad we did. Not very crowded at that time of year and we loved that. It was very quiet, clean and had friendly staff. Took another couple with us and everyone agreed, “let’s do it again “! Lots of fun
We love to stop here on the way up north for our annual chicken dinner
Very convenient to Frankenmuth. Good Campground for overnight or more. $40 all in. 50 amp / W & S. Some long pull thru's. Lot's in the shade ie: no Sat. but have some with access to Sat. signal. No wi-fi. Washrooms ok but need coins for showers. Good reception at office.
