Reviews for Pioneer RV Park (55+)

This is a very nice park however, it is mostly a seasonal destination for snowbirds. The park is clean and has many amenities. The pull thru sites are extremely tight though. There was no way we could put out our awning until the people next to us left. VETERANS- if you suffer from any form of PTSD, be advised there is a large, public, outdoor shooting range near here. You can clearly hear gunfire throughout the day. They also host shooting competitions there.

| Not a Good Overnight Place to Stay

This is mostly a permanent and long term park. They gave us a spot that was not level, leaning front to back and toward passenger side. The check in person did not seem to know how to do the paperwork, etc. We rode our bikes around the complex and noticed that virtually all the sites required a lot of leveling blocks for their perms. They insisted on backing us in, so that we would be on a thin red painted line with the drivers side. Only thing we could see was it avoided a rutted side on the passenger side. So, not a good park for us, as travelers. Ask about the water and the clerk said it was safe, but she did not like the taste of it. We used our bottled water.

We have traveled all over and this by far was filled with rude office people. They really don't want you to stay as they have plenty of people and don't seem to want or need anymore. We have three dogs Not two they suggested we get rid of one.....

| Large resort

I'm surprised at the bad reviews, although perhaps they are pre management change. This place is a resort, lots of seasonal people here, 500 sites total. Beautifully maintained with improvements going on. Good indoor pool and hot tub; library, game room, laundry with hundreds of feet of outdoor clothesline, big social hall. Couple showers near the pool which we enjoyed. Full hookups probably at all the sites. The transient sites are about 16-20 feet wide and 70-100 feet long. Just north of Phoenix so it's gravel everywhere. Office staff totally gracious on the phone in advance and in person once we arrived. We'll stay here again. Good Same discount.
