| Very tight spots

By user-5517425... on 2017-10-23.

This park has many amenities, a nice pool, courts, lots of sports. Difficult to meet people because virtually everyone is from Quebec. The real problem however is that the roads are single lane, and the spots perpendicular to the road, and EXTREMELY tight. We explained when we booked that we were a 38 ft 5th wheel, but the first spot they tried to put us was no more than 10 feet wide with palm trees on all sides front and back. We wouldn't have been able to back in, much less open sliders. After much deliberation, a new site was found, equally narrow, with dead branches overhead. The grounds crew willingly cut them, but the site was again so tight that we had to move cars across the street and next door. Even so, when in, we were at a crazy angle due to one side being on concrete and the other 6 inches lower in grass. We also were inches from the covered patio of a permanent trailer home. We showed the situation to the staff, and we moved to a 30 amp spot on a corner. We still had to move several cars from adjacent sites but we managed. This site was nice, and we enjoyed our week there. The staff is very accomodating, we needed their help when leaving too. All in all, a lovely park, but meant for small campers and permanent trailer homes.
