But.... the office is delirious, the computer is always down they don't know what is reserved and what isn't. They no longer have WiFi you have to sign up for a 3rd party provider. Bathrooms are clean and actually quite nice. Walking distance to old town and the 2 restaurants we tried (the diner and the grill) were good with good service.

| Nice location right next to the town of Port Townsend

The location has simple sites with a variety of hookup options. Very popular in the summer so make reservations in advance. The views are very nice if you get a waterfront site.. Hudson cafe is wonderful for breakfast. Doc's is good for dinner. I'm told the Chinese restaurant has good take out, but the seating dining area isn't the best. Easy walking distance to the old part of Port Townsend. Pt. Hudson marina is at the RV park.

We love this place. It's basically a large parking lot with hookups, but it's behind the marina buildings right on the Puget Sound. Whatever weather comes in from the ocean, you will experience. Not a place for your awning. Walk into Port Townsend for great meals or eat right here at one of several restaurants.

Best sites are the "POINT" sites. A little more expensive but worth it for the views.

| Three stooges of campground management

Reservations made 8 months in advance for a waterfront site on puget sound. 2,500 miles from home and we get stuffed into a space intended for a pop-up trailer except we are in a 36 ft class A with a tow. "jeez, we're not sure what happened to your reservation but enjoy! 30 amp only, and hookups on the wrong side. But it could be worse, the other half of the campground is best described as "Bug Tussle" where the actual camp sites can't be accurately determined. Enjoy the dirt and dead grass. It could be lovely if they tried.

Sites are no more than gravel with some tufts of grass around. Only 30 amp hookups and certainly nothing fancy or outstanding about the park ... BUT, you are right on the shoreline! Fantastic spot to watch the marine traffic and generally enjoy the saltwater experience. Additionally, you are just minutes from wonderful old town Port Townsend with its restaurants and shops and old Victorian buildings. Pt Townsend is a great place to visit any time of the year, but summer is crazy crowded.
