Didn't stay here because it was full but everything looked good , obviously very popular. Instead stayed at the Itasca Fairgrounds,that was empty with good reason. overpriced and dirty.
This is a great campground to stay at when your in the Grand Rapids, MN area! I lived in the area for years and would visit the dam and the hiking trails, however, never camped. We stayed for a night and it was great! The spots are all nicely sized, lots of mature trees provide a great shaded area, the paved driveway in the park is nice, the set up is easy to navigate, and the dump area is clean and nice as well. They have new playground equipment which is a bonus, the bathhouse is nice and clean, and overall it's a great place to stay! Although there aren't water and sewer hookups at the site the freshwater hook up was easy to access and overall the campground is one of the best places we've ever camped at. This will be our campground of choice when coming to Grand Rapids!
Exceptional COE park. Easy to find. Nice and helpful staff. Bathrooms & showers were clean. Nice walking paths. Walmart and other shopping near by. Our site was easy to get in and out of with our 25 foot Class C. Paid $13.00 using our senior pass.
