Reviews for Pokegama Lake RV Park

| All the charm of a parking lot.

Sandwiched in like sardines and in the open field. Showers are there but cost you and half your $ is used getting the water warm. They prohibit bringing your own wood, even if it's local, like the wood they make you buy for 6 bucks a tiny bundle. It's not as if they had any trees to protect. It's also a gun free zone, which means the only people armed are the thugs. Forget wifi, it doesn't work. And forget the good Sam discount on certain days (the one you're there on :(. All in all, a good place to avoid.

Very nice people, but just a big empty field, very stark, and not well kept

Just a big open field. Will nickle and dime you for anything and everything. Was told I couldn't burn 2x4's because they want to sell you fire wood. WiFi doesn't work. Staff is grumpy. Wish it was nicer because it's a nice area. Lake is good for fishing, bar/restaurant a little walk or quick bike down the road.

I am in agreement, packed in. Just a field lined up with campers. If it rains you step out into a swamp. And the mosquitos will eat you alive. Tried twice, won't be back.
