The porkies is an outstanding place to enjoy backpacking with union Bay as a base camp, good size sites for big rigs or tents. patrolled by rangers regularly, even the unpowered campground @ Presque Isle River (my fav spot in the world ) quiet, elevated, scenic from the northern sites overlooking Lake Superior even a sunset view from a few sites all the way to Bayfield and @ $17/night hard to ask for more plz make sure thermacells are close by
