Reviews for Port San Luis Harbor

| Way better than I thought.

This app was the only one that showed rv camping here at Port San Luis Harbor. Only a few full hookup spots, the rest are dry spots and an overflow area that is also no hookup but beautiful view of the area. There is only one dump station in the area and they charge. We were supposed to stay 1 night but instead stayed for two nights and 3 days.

We loved staying here. Close to restaurants and beautiful views. Will, our camp host, was so accommodating and helpful to get us a place. Very knowledgeable about the area. Definitely will come back.

| Unique and fun set up; be flexible

You gotta be flexible to enjoy this place. The views and harbor access are awesome. It's self registration, you drop money in iron ranger slot; first come first serve. Prices going up to $50 (dry) and $70 (hookups) on 7/1/18. Overflow lot has best view. Great seafood restaurant and market on pier. Very cool.

| Great views!

Wonderful and calming to watch otters, seals, pelicans. Dog friendly beach. We've been here many times. Listen to the breakers and seals all night. A bit pricey but the nearby hotels are $500 A night for this view. Tip: lineup near the "overflow camping" sign about 8 in the morning. The camp host will assign sites as RVs leave. Since so many people are touring California, many people stay just one night. Sites even become available Saturday morning.

Absolutely perfect with an amazing view direct at the beach, maybe a bit noisy but it was the best campground during our vacation.

Fell asleep to the gentle waves...pretty expensive for dry camping
