Reviews for Portland Fairview RV Park

Could be a 5, someday...maybe? Not as friendly and caring as all the other parks we have tried. Not family friendly. NO BABIES IN POOL even with swim diapers. Wow. Upper laundry and showers are difficult to get to. New commercial washers are lovely, but don't do laundry at night. Apparently vagrants are a problem...

Park is large and a lot of it is adjacent to train tracks with trains running all night. Previous review otherwise good info.

This Park must have been designed for RVs that were only 27ft or shorter and with no slides. Sites are narrow and short for Big Rigs. Concrete pads are level. The park is well maintained. Hard to imagine staying here for more than a few days.

| Nice park.

Summer rate is now $55. Local bus stops just outside park. Very convenient way to get downtown. Sites are narrow but adequate. We stay here every year for the Oregon Brewers festival.

This is a very large park but since we are WAY out of season it is nearly empty. The sites are very nice level concrete with room for the toad to be parked beside you on concrete as well. As with most urban type campgrounds the is "just enough" room at your site but it's certainly not spacious. Even the roads are laid out so that making a turn in the RV from one road to the next might be too tight to accomplish without a minor back and fill (the only reason for not giving 4 starts). There is plenty of open space with trees logically located to allow for an attractive setting but not burying the RV. My other big complaint is not exclusive to this park. My must the install boulders at the ends of the rows where and RV needs to turn? If you don't want us driving on the grass, don't put grass there or make the turns wide enough to get around!

Stayed here many times in the past and liked it. Park was recently sold to Encore/Thousand Trails and the rates have gone from $35 a night to $55 a night. The cable doesn't work but the wifi is good. Stay on the top level or you will be bothered by the frequent trains going by. I probably won't be staying here again due to the price.

| A GREAT PARK

This has got to be one of the best parks I have ever been too. The Management and staff were wonderful and went out of their way to help. I can't say enough about this park. All spaces a paved and level and each has a small area for picnics and family. I would recommend this park to everyone!

| Terrible service and dirty spot

Only good thing about this park is the free wifi & the showers. We booked this because all the other RV parks in the area were full even though this park was $51/night with the Thousand Trails discount. We are Thousand Trails members and we have been to probably 20 Thousand Trails parks across the US & Canada. Out of all the RV park's we have been to I would wholeheartedly say this is the worst park I have ever been to. We have an older RV (1997 Glendale) but it is in good shape and I checked the website and it said that they have a 10 year policy on monthly but that didn't apply on daily. When we went to check it she asked out old our unit is and she said very rudely we have a 10 yr policy did you check our website? and I informed her that I did and it said nothing about daily rentals and she said for daily it was a 15 year limit but she will "let us stay". She said it like she was doing us a favor! I'm sorry I thought we payed to stay here! You don't have to do me any favors! Upadte your website! So I was already a bit miffed because of the bad customer service, then I get to my site and I see this big poop right by our hook ups. Then when we get settled in I realise she put us in a spot right by the road! I kept waking up all night because of all the loud car going by literally right by our window. It wasn't like there weren't any other spots there were open spots in front of us and beside us, but it was assigned and we couldn't move. All in all, it was not a pleasant experience staying here and the only reason we did was because we trusted the Thousand Trails parks but even though this is an encore (and supposed to be better) it did not live up to our expectations.

Have stayed here many times and find it convenient for family visits in area. Don t think there is another comparable park in the area. Rates are a bit high though. Debbie was great on a last minute same day arrival and getting us a space for 10 days. Majority of spaces for full timers but they are mostly away from the daily and weekly visitors at front of park. We will be back when visiting this area.

Very nice park in wooded area close to I-84 at the mouth of the Columbia River Gorge. Paved roads and level sites with full hook ups. Cable is snowy but OTA is great. Friendly helpfull staff.

We stayed 7 nights this time. We have stayed here a couple if other times. They have really upgraded the park. Wifi was very good. Sites are wide with enough room to park vehicle next to RV. Didn't use the showers. Good cable hookup. Couldn't get satellite to lock because of southern trees. Staff very friendly and helpful. 50 amp work as it should.

Nice paved level sites with room to park Toad on side of RV. Good for home base to visit Columbia River Gorge or Portland city attractions. Well maintained grounds And friendly staff. Aircraft noise is constant and annoying but didn't keep us awake.
