| Spacious park

We booked a site online #36 and it was spacious with good privacy. Ants invaded us on day 2 so we asked the ranger to come spray, relentless critters came back on day 4. So bring Terro or Borax. Lovely park, rolling lawns, pretty lake, good trails and close to amenities. Toilets were pretty gross. Glad we're self-contained :-( Pity some campers don't treat public areas well. It takes about 90 min to get to LA - the traffic is hideous. This beats staying in a parking lot style rv park any day!

This is a decent park with some great sites. Gate closes at 5pm and then locals sneak in. One person pays for a site and gives all their friends the gate code. I have seen a dozen cars parked in the road at one site. Office workers somehow get the "host" sites, but do nothing to control security after hours. If you have a noise problem or anything else at night, they say to call the sheriff. With some kind of security at night this park would rate higher.

A lot of trails to walk. People like to cut through your campsite, but all-in-all, it is a nice park for being in the city. I would probably do it again for a quick get away. Just take your OFF! I was eaten up. A lot of gopher holes too.
