We have been camping here many times as it is reasonably close to home, and has decent fishing. We usually try to get one of the several sites close to the restroom/shower areas because they don't have sewer hook-ups and the RV-Dump leaves a lot to be desired due to the way it is designed next to a pit toilet. The shower/restroom facilities are OK, not as good as the State Park but better then many a private campground we have been to. Water spigots and power are at each site, along with a trash tote. All the sites we have camped are gravel/grass and never been muddy for us, and the wife likes the handicap pier to fish from. Rates are very fair, and we are hoping the park will find it in the long term budget to improve the restroom/shower facilities and RV/waste dump soon. The creek is well known for Its fishing, pontoon boats and sailing, as well as improved swimming bathhouse this past year, and many picnicking sites and shelters, playgrounds, and family pet friendly areas. We do recommend this park for anyone who does not insist on too modern facilities; but will still enjoy simple amenities at a reasonable rate. Friendly Folks to deal with.
Very crowded... Most were permanent sites. Did not stay here.
