| $25 Spacious and clean

By user-5266810... on 2017-10-23.

We stopped just for the night. It's kept clean and on part of the old air force base. It's neat to drive around and see how the locals are using the buildings for their own businesses. Nice stay, friendly staff.

| I'm biased.

My mom ran this park for the last couple of decades. She was very particular bit friendly. Immaculately clean, great bath house, kids playground, nice level pull throughs, lots of grass and shade trees. My mom passed away in early March of 2017, so it's the end of an era. RV parks are only as good as the folks who run them, so here's hoping that whoever takes over has the same passion about it that my mom did.

| Great City Park

Prairie Pines Campground Very nice city well maintained. Nice big sites we stayed in 14 which was to shady to have satellite, but for a few days with out TV that's okay. Saw the Chanute Air Force(decommissioned) Museum great museum, but to bad it's closing at the end of the year. Lot of places to eat has all the typical fast food place, Wal-mart and stuff like that. We don't eat out much so can't comment on it. $25 dollars a night $125 a week and you can stay longer didn't check on the price. I would stay a couple weeks here. Nice couple that are host been running the place for 17 years. Didn't use washers but it had 2 washers 2 dryers Maybe three showers looked clean we don't use others showers. This is a well keep city park keep mowed every tuesday.
