We stopped here on our way to Tucson. Nice set up. Great playground. Very inexpensive. Nice pull through spots. We are only staying a night but would definitely stay here again.
Very simple pull through spots w/ water & elec. central dump. Central pay station with envelopes- total honor system. The lake is nice and it's a good after dinner walk around it. Some local fishermen thru the evenings but friendly. Night was quiet w/lots of stars. Little off the highway but worth the detour. We'd stay there again.
It really sucks when you come to a lake to relax and get away from the city noise. But at this lake it's not that way. The park attendant or whatever he was was mowing late Friday and early Saturday morning into the day. Understand people don't want mower noise and dust blowing everywhere when it's suppose to be relaxing at the lake. That's what the middle of the week is for so you don't bother the people that pay to stay !!! VERY DISAPPOINTED !! BE NICE TO HAVE A SHOWER HOUSE TOO !!!
Avoid. Thumping stereos well past 4:00 am. No staff on duty or sheriff's patrol. Facilities are OK.
We were on a short stopover for the night. Nice pull thru slots. Reasonably priced. We didn't need any facilities, so that didn't come into play
Nice quiet spot with the small lake. Long pull thrus for us that need it. Many backing also. We were there on a weekday and the night was quiet. But could see weekend traffic from the locals could be noisy as it seems like a great place for the fishing and family time. Still give it a try
Nice pull through for just $20 with a lake view. You cannot reserve ahead, but they said there should be plenty of openings and there were. We didn't need any facilities such as laundry or showers, so no idea about the bathrooms, etc
Hosts don't maintain rules at park. Music, fireworks past 2:00 am. Fights, had to call police ar 4:00am. Emphasis on alot of traffic. Pros, nice fishing, setup.
Off the highway, large sites, nice small lake. Pleasant stop away from the drum of the road.
