I have never called without getting a response, contrary to one review, and we have stayed here at least 8 times in the past 10 years. There are better parks but none this close to Denver and none with such reasonable rates. Also, the staff is excellent. The "proof is in the pudding" as the park is full most of the time - and accommodating from the biggest rigs to the smallest RVs. It's located on the border of Prospect Park which has great playgrounds, running/bike trails, lakes, ballparks, etc. if you want to stay here, you need to call in advance.
Really enjoyed staying here. Staff was great. Whole facility clean. Bathroom/showers are assigned to you. They were very clean. Right next to a huge park, where you can ride your bike, hike, fish, etc. Would definitely love to come back. 4 stars, because it's slightly cramped, no fire pits (city ordnance), and you pay to dump.
We stayed here for one night. We never even saw the owner because we pulled in late and left early. But they left everything we needed all at the door and we found our site no problem. The price was reasonable, our site was quite nice, and the laundry facilities were great. The only thing a little strange for me was that they had a private bathrooms, and you were assigned to one of them and given a key. Of course, based on the number of residents, you share that bathroom with other people so if it was being used you had to wait a while. However, it appears you could just see if one of the other bathrooms was unlocked and use that one instead. The location was very convenient for Denver, the price was right, and the amenities were good. All in all, a good experience.
We needed to stay at a park near Arvada overnight and called. Catherine was so cheerful and enthusiastic. She fit us in for the one night we needed. Our site was great,with a view of next door Prospect Park. We enjoyed walking around the lake and it was really quiet considering how close it is to busy highways. Cost reasonable, but included $5.00 tax.
Friendly and a comfortable place to stay. Showers/Restrooms clean... such a treat (but be sure to take your own hand towel). Close to grocery shopping, activities, and parks... but you do need a car. The owner's daughter-in-law is cheerful and helpful. We enjoyed visiting with her. Nice and clean park. All gravel but level. Pull-throughs are spacious and easy for in/out. We loved being next to a park for a walk around the lake and bike trails for exercise. We will definitely stay at Prospect again. Great experience. Paid $79 for 2 nights stay.
I wouldn't recommend this park... it's really not an RV park for travelers or visitors. Knowing this area well... I would never allow my family to stay here, if that helps at all. It gives off the feeling that it is a "trailer park" not really the RV park vibe at all.
A simple park for layovers, friendly staff but not the beautiful views Colorado would otherwise have No problems just Overnite stay
Not fancy but a clean well kept park to stop overnight. Full hook ups with many pull throughs. The sites are adequate but not spacious. I don't mean cramped but rather no wasted space. The park is mostly set back from a quiet street so there no traffic noise. Very friendly people running the place.
Went online and sent an email to the address on their website requesting a reservation. After no response I called several time the next 2 days, with never an answer, and couldn't leave a message because their answering machine was out of memory.
Year round full hookup location in Northwest Denver area. Level, gravel sites, staff very helpful.
We only stayed for one night, but the place was very nice. The spots were a little tight, but we had a park next to it that was great for walking our dog. It was raining the whole time, but the bathrooms were clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.
