Great place to stay

We came in October 2013 and stayed till August 2014. Awesome Management a fun place to stay with lots of programs and site wide parties all year.
We stayed in a motor home.

Sites are not level but usable, lots of amenities for families. gas and misc grocery items close by.

Recommend. Wide gravel sites with grass in between. Miniature golf. Lots of big trees. Plus they give you a cookie when you check in.

Nice sites with grass and a picnic table. Grassy fenced pet area, friendly folks in the office. Did I mention great Wifi and cable TV. Would have been a 5 but it was a bit on the pricey side $50.00 /night

Pretty KOA, but pricey. I don't do kiddy pools and it is small! Dog parks are nice but need shade. Otherwise I'd stay again

Great KOA

I used to be turned-off by KOA prices but have learned the value of a KOA membership after camping full time for a full year. I'm willing to pay what amounts to $5 more per night to have nice and clean facilities consistently because reviews on sites like RV Parky are very subjective and have led me to the wrong campground more than once.
When I first arrived I was greeted at the office door by a sign stating in capital bold letters check-in is at 1 pm, early check-in fee is $10, so I thought oh no maybe I've booked the wrong place! Turns out the staff was nice and helpful, and the Kampground was very nice with lots of amenities and nice people/campers. Clearly the sign set the wrong tone for visitors but was merely a blemish on what is otherwise a very well maintained and operated park. We will definitely stay at KOA as our first choice and would stay at this park again. 4 stars could have been 5 stars without the sign.

Great koa. We have stayed at several koa camps. This is the best. Great camp sights with grass, level, good cable and WiFi. The beautiful view of mountains is worth it. Will stay again. Hands down

They seemed to do everything right there. Everything clean and well maintained. Staff very gracious. They claim to be one of the best KOAs in the country, and they could well be. We stayed for the Labor Day Weekend, got one of their last spots.
Don't recall the wifi, I think we used our hot spots mostly, Verizon signal was fine.
Beautiful views of mountains. Good restaurants nearby.
Just off I25 but highway noise not bad at all.

Nice Koa with store, laundry, showers, and propane. There is also mini golf, pool, hot tub, and pool table- (none of which we used due to the cold). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Paid 56 per night for a pull through. The laundry had four washers and 6 dryers. Very clean. $1.50 per wash and $1.50 per dry. Store has good selection of supplies and gift type things. My husband used the shower and said there were 3 stalls-all clean. Filled up on propane before leaving which was convenient. I wIsh the rate was discounted in the winter, considering it s too cold to use any of the outdoor amenities. Overall good, safe stop.

This campground is well maintained, with hard pack gravel roads and sites. Our site was level, long and wide but had no trees. There are other sites that are not as wide that do have trees. It is 25-30 miles to any city, so don t expect anything to be a quick trip from your camp. It is not the big family type koa with lots going on. This should really be a journey and not a holiday.
