Reviews for Quebec City KOA Canada

| Good spot for city visit

By user-5386627... on 2017-10-23.

Enough space for our 42 ft fifth wheel in pull thru. Main roads are paved. We were close to main highway, yet far enough away to not be bothered by noise. Arranged tour through office, and we were picked up at campground. Good activities for kids on site.

| Great park

A comfortable park, easy city access. Season end, so pool & hot tub closed. Only negative comment would be poor wifi and only eligible for one device

| Large Pull Thru's

We stayed 3 nights in our 38 foot fifth wheel trailer while touring Old Quebec City. Very nice KOA.

Positives: sites pretty level and they give you a plastic trash bag when you check in. Negatives: This park is rectangle shape probably 150-250 yards deep. If your not in a prime spot you are in the lower section. The road to the lower section is a steep driveway up a hill then back down. The roads in the park are narrow. Hopefully you don't have a large rig coming in while another is going out. It's one rig wide and the drive up the hill has curves and blind spots. If your in the lower section is is a long walk to the store, kids playground, washers/dryers and the one and only trash bin they have. They don't enforce the rules. The rules state not to tie anything to the trees, including clothes lines. 2 spots over there was a rental RV with a clothes line tied up and the dudes shorts hanging up (and I don't mean his cargo shorts). What a view. They have 2 bathrooms in the lower section, about 75 yards apart. I went to use one and there was a sign stating "Closed for Spring Cleaning, Use other one". Really? Spring cleaning? The workers aren't at all friendly, but then most of the folks I ran into in Quebec weren't very friendly either. Would I stay here again? Only if this was the only campground available.

No internet . .low voltage had no air, had to move on last night. What a mess! Come to find out management knew there was a power problem with the site.

Yep... the earlier reviews warned that there would be no internet. They are right. We got the same excuse... it s being worked on. For real? Look how much earlier the reviews are compared to this one... and we got the same story. Am I wrong to think that misinformation is being handed out? I do have ONE TV channel in English. The rest are French. My site was level but very short. For a pull through, I could not keep my vehicle parked in front or behind the motorhome. I have to park it diagonally. We are here for several days, which means we are here for several days too many. There is one good thing, the play area (bounce pad, swimming pool, etc.) is quite a ways from our site so that means we are not going to hear screaming kids 18/7. I do not recommend this place. I wish I could because it has a lot of potential; however, WiFi is very important for those that travel several months at a time. I plan to come back to Quebec City again but I will not be staying at this KOA. Shame... BTW: The staff were very friendly, the water pressure is average, the sewer hole is about 6 inches above the ground so that means the flow has to travel uphill... unless you have a much higher support for the hose to sit on.

| Mediocre at best

Stayed for 4 days Pull throughs are narrow and short. Could not park car in site with rig. WiFi was virtually nonexistent. They claim they are improving coverage but we certainly didn t see it. Rest rooms were very nice. Clean and bright. Probably some of the nicest we have seen. Very busy park. A lot of one nighters. If I was back in area, I would probably stay elsewhere.
