Reviews for Queen Mine RV Park

| Cool little park

This park is unique. It is an RV park in the round, which I have never seen before. Overlooks downtown Bisbee and the Copper Queen and Lavender Mines. Manager is nice. Walk to town. A little tight getting into the park, but otherwise good.

We are on a couple month trip to the southwest and this was just a one night stop. That said, it was so worth it to go there. Bisbee is one of the coolest towns on earth and this park is one of the coolest RV parks on earth. Loved the round layout. Sites were large enough, comfortable, with nice trees. We were there near Christmas, so it wasn’t heavily populated. The managers weren’t around at all, totally honor system for registration. Decent showers and laundry. Easy walk to town. Hope to return some day.

I concur with the previous reviews, but I need to add information about access to and egress from the RV park. Coming from the east on AZ80 you will exit to old Bisbee for 150 yards or so then make a hard left and go through a 13'5" underpass of AZ80. Then 150 yards to Dart Road and right to the Queen Mine parking lot. Then a sharp left up a short 50 yard ONE LANE steep climb (look before you start) to the park. Coming from the west on AZ80 is more straight forward to the Dart Road turn. While at the park study the egress routes. Going east on AZ80 is a tight turn where you will probably run your right side trailer wheels off a curb. Going west on AZ80 involves crossing multiple lanes of traffic. Careful!!! As far as Bisbee goes .... I was in the San Francisco area while in the military in the late 60s. I think some of those hippies moved to Bisbee and now have grey hair. Their shops are colorful and quaint bring back memories.

What a great town Bisbee is. Arrived on Saturday of Memorial Day. Town was packed. We unhooked the car from the RV and settled in. But walked into town. Not far at all. Laundry and bathrooms were very clean. I would recommend this RV park.

One fine, nice and convenient to the beautiful little town of Bisbee, Arizona. All amenities were a stone-throw, clean and well kept. Fantastic views of Bisbee North and overlooking the famous copper mine to the South. I ll stay here again!
