Nice place to stop for a few nights. Good management and good sites.

| OK as a base of operations - not a destination park

As Escapees, we decided to stay in this park so we could visit our son who lives in Knoxville. The sites are VERY small - our neighbors sewer hose ran almost underneath our picnic table. My wife follows me in her Toyota and there was barely room to get it out of the roadway. That said, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and we enjoyed meeting people at the Sunday afternoon ice cream social. There is also a nice, clean laundry room with four washers and four dryers. There are some trails in a natural area behind the main park area that are a nice place to walk. This is no resort park, but met our needs for a place to stay.

| Great Park

After an unfortunate incident with our toad, the manager & staff went out of the way to make our stay a good time. Would go back again.

| Open, but aged

By user-6697187... on 2017-10-23.

Pay for internet, no cable, hook ups are far apart, sites are narrow and short on west side pull throughs. Aged sedentary community, many appear to be here long term. Few trees and coarse gravel lots that are not that level and barely room to park your car or truck.

| Escapees RV Park - Clean

By user-5210853... on 2017-10-23.

We spent a week here and found the park to be a typical RV park. The restrooms, showers, and building were very clean and well maintained. It is a bargain if you are an Escapee's member. Good location to tour the area but an hour or more from Smoky Mountain National Park. People were very friendly and helpful. Many long term stay campers.

This is one of the nicer parks in the Knoxville area. It can handle rigs over 65 feet. No playground or pool, but they do have a laundry room and a clubhouse and bluegrass music every Thursday night. There is easy shopping within 15 minutes in Powell and real shopping 35 minutes away in south west Knoxville. if you are a member of the Escapees club, the rates are much better.

Escapee Park - non member price $25 - Good for short term but some stay a long time. Park is "aged" and needs some upgrading

| Great stop for a night

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.

We stopped for the night with our 70 RV and trailer. Not very far off the highway. Quiet and safe. 50amp pull thru spot. No low trees and park has nice wide turns. Easy in and out. It would have gotten 5 stars if they had WiFi. I would come again.
