We stay for 2 night's, for a fighter jet experience @ Clearwater airport. Very friendly, manly ''older People'' on the campsite. WIFI connection, just around facilities available, not on actual campsite. Similar as most campgrounds seen in Florida so far....
This mainly for Winter Floridans with a few sites for transients. We used as a base to visit St. Petersburg and Tampa and it worked fine. Wo-Fi is only in the recreation bldg. We camped in a 5-th wheel.
Needed a place to stay while taking a class for a week. This is mostly a 55+/snowbird place with mobile homes/park models. They have a few RV sites. The place is not a "camping" place, but fit the bill for what I needed. It was very clean and quiet. It appeared that there would be a lot of activities during the season. Check-in was friendly, easy, & efficient. There is a security gate, and the park is close to shopping/restaurants. Our 50 amp/FHU was not a pull-thru. If your rig will turn on a dime, you could pull thru. We had to back in, but will be able to hook up the toad and "pull out". The sites are close together and are gravel. We had to put boards under the jacks to keep from sinking. However, it was easily leveled. The WiFi is only at the rec hall. If you don't have your own, you'll have to purchase Tengo to have it in your RV. The cable was awful, so we used our OTA and were able to get plenty of channels.There is a nice dog park and plenty of space to walk the dog. We stayed in a MH. We would stay again if in the area and needed a site.
