Park was clean, restrooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Harry's Road House just up the road had wonderful food and the park is a short drive into the Plaza. Remodeling pool area so noise was a bit distracting during the day. Propane was convenient.
We were going to stay two nights and we ended up staying four. I loved the place. It had different levels within the park. Staff was friendly, 8 miles away from Santa Fe plaza, and a little hiking trail on premises great for walk with our small dogs.
Stayed one night no problems
We normally stay at another CG in Santa Fe but decided to try this one. We will definitely stay here again. Every thing is clean and friendly staff. New pool is very nice as well. Short drive to town.
We always stay here when in Santa Fe. Love the rustic and natural surroundings. The roads are gravel and with recent rains they were washed-out a bit in some areas but still easy to get around. We stayed in site 8, fhu with plenty of room and some shade but close to neighbors in site 9 - their awning almost went over our slideout! Would have preferred a site without sewer just to have more space between but once the neighbor left, it was fine. Love the trail and kids liked the pool and movie night. Close to Harrys Roadhouse - awesome breakfast burrito and coffee cake and garden patio dining!
Pool was freezing. The showers need to be updated. Does have all amenities.
Terrible Sites. Very close could bearly open slides then had no room to walk beside motor home. Roads were gullies. Pull thru was not a pull thru. Terrible.!
Late arrival went smoothly; location was a little hard to find. Very friendly with good amenities. Will stay again.
Worst parking, unhooking and access to utilities experience ever. We have stayed in over 50 parks across U.S. and have never seen such an un-level and downsloped (front to back) sites. Access to your site is met with terrible ruts, about 1 ft deep. Utility hookups are at non-standard locations. To reach pedestal, I had to pull forward, but then my hitch was about 1 ft below the TT. So I had to backup and borrow an extension 30 amp cable. When I un-hooked, my truck was at such a severe negative grade below my TT, I wasn't sure I could hook-up again. I didn't have enough blocks to raise my hitch to level the TT. If I had pulled forward to level, the rig next to me would be blocked as two sites share a single exit. To make our stay worse, we were about 4 ft from next rig, and no room for us to use the picnic table, and next rig had to be positioned directly over their sewer hookups. Rig next to us had hard packed gravel while ours was sand with 2-3 gravel rocks spread across the site. Bathhouse and restrooms okay. Park recycled which was a plus, along with their walking trail. Bottom Line: worst laid out, arranged and accessible park I've ever seen. Lesson learned: read other reviews before making reservations. We would not stay here again nor recommend to others.
Beautiful setting for smaller RVs. Requested pull thru site for 35 foot motor home towing dolly with car. Site was uneven, restricting ability to level and extend slides. Ruts were severe and impeded ability to depart. Had to remove tow dolly to get out of site due to turning radius alloted.
Nice park and staff friendly and helpful. Don't stay in #8 or 9 if in an RV. Too narrow , unlevel and turn radius is short. Traveling in 34ft RV.
The staff was friendly. Park was clean, nice and quiet but close to Santa Fe.
Not very well maintained. Roads in park are nothing but dirt deep ruts. Sites are so close that we could barely walk beside our motor home with slides open. Pull through was not level enough to hook up when we got ready to leave and had to block other travelers while we hooked up.
Stayed overnight on our way to Arizona, drive slow, roads may have ruts. 24 ft class c did fine.
Got an RV spot for the night 25.00, Electric & sewer. Filled up with water at dump station spigot. Friendly host. Mostly tent camping but that part closed for the season.
The sites in and to the left are decent; flat and reasonably roomy. Sites to the right go up the hill and are very tight. Rest of the campground unlevel. Positives: playground, dog-park, helpful staff and something NO other campround in the area has:a pool.
Rustic park about 8 miles from town center. Stone site was almost level but it had a deep rut going in and out of the site. The showers had hot water but cold attached bathrooms. They had just opened the week before so they have more leveling to do. lots of pine trees.
Very nice park, good size campsite that are easy to get into with full hook ups. Mulitple Sewer connections at each site. Some sites have good size trees and shade. Staff was great and other facilities were nice and clean. Did not use pool or see a movie, but both were available. Office had some items available and Ice at reasonable pricing.
