Little to no shade. Little to no grass/trees. Nice facilities otherwise. A little pricey.

Very nice camp ground and very friendly staff. Easy to get to and close to all attractions.

| Great winter option.

Most of the RV parks near Rushmore are closed for the winter season and Holiday and Lazy are over-priced and ugly (IMO). This KOA has an entire section (#120 - 135) open for the winter with FU for $25 a night. The laundry/showers are closed for the season but I am self-contained, so that does not matter to me. The views are great and there is plenty of space to play / walk the dogs. Lots of grassy areas and very well maintained. The place looks great! There is a C-store at the bottom of the hill. Although I am not usually a KOA fan, I would definitely return to this location during the off-season when the kids are in school. Lol

| It'a a KOA

Friendly staff and pleasant surrpondings, but like the last time we stayed at a KOA we were given a muddy site (most adjoining sites had been given new coat of gravel). They moved is to next site. Wifi was erratic and could not login to wifi when on office-side of park. Clean restrooms and showers. Nice play area for kids. But if KOA has any interest in image, they could do more about maintaining all sites and the amenities like wifi...more than pancake breakfast and matching staff clothes.

| Nice Park, Kid Friendly

Great visit with quick access to all tourist locations. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Many activities for kids and pets throughout. Nice pool and hot tub. Our 44 ft Rv had no problems moving around or pulling into our pull through site. Breakfast and ice cream served on site for a slight fee.

| Nope, never again

Yes, this is a very busy week, but putting an RV in a place obviously designed for pop-up's & tents was bad enough. No place safe to park truck. Pool full of screamers. Unsupervised tweens flinging stuff. Paid for 3, left after 1. Nope, never again.

| Unpleasant experience with inflexible staff.

When my transmission broke and I attempted to cancel, even though I missed the deadline period, staff was rude and accommodating. I think what bothered me most, even when I called again today to request a refund, was the rudeness and being hung up on mid sentence. We ultimately stayed at the Hot Springs KOA, with lovely staff and beautiful site.

| Great stay!!

We pulled in to their new pull thru sites and were very happy with our site, although very close to the dump station :( The staff were pleasant and gave us lots of information about things to do in the area. We did the bus tour they recommended. Great laundry and bathrooms, awesome game room, beautiful large pool. Breakfast is offered every morning and activities at night. All sites have a fire ring and they sell fire wood there. Dog park was also very nice! We were very happy with our stay!!

| Overpriced but okay...

If you don't mind paying $50 per night for water and electric only this isn't a bad place. Wifi is poor and you can only pickup half dozen tv channels. Laundry cost $2.50 per load. Nice little picnic tables and shelter at each site. Bathrooms and showers were clean.

A nice KOA located very close to the main freeways giving easy access to all of the sights in the area. We had one of the larger pull through sites near the entrance. The roads and sites are gravel, but easy to navigate for big rigs. Each site has a small grass area with a picnic table. The park has all of the standard KOA amenities with a pool, playground, dog area, bathrooms and showers, etc. along with a game room and a pancake breakfast offered most mornings. Wifi was not working at all for us during our stay.

Nice park, big sites. The people at front desk could have been friendlier.
