The staff is friendly and helpful. They make you feel welcome. They provide a guide to your site and offer assistance. The sites are gravel and the trees are newly planted so it will be awhile before they provide useful shade.
I usually like KOA but..... The staff is friendly. Guided us to our site. Dirt roads. Gravel spots. Right outside your rv door is dirt, weeds and ants. Picnic tables are old wood and splintered. 65 channels on cable tv. However the picture quality was right out of the 1970's. Did not use the bathroom. Park is near interstate 80. Easy to find but you can hear traffic. Too bad as this could be a very nice park.
Very nice office, laundry, bath facilities, and playground. Squeaky clean bathrooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Level gravel pull-thru sites. No shaded or green grassy sites; but the Rawlins area is very dry with few trees. Easy access to I-80. Great campground for a stopover. We camp in a 37-ft fifth wheel.
