Stayed here last summer for a week. Spot was right on the river where a mom and her 8 ducklings spent s lot of time. It was very peaceful here, the sound of the river was nice, biking trails on site and close the Oak Island. Owners were very helpful, sites are huge and power/water/sewer all very well played out. Would recommend this place!

The best thing about this campground is that it is close to Scenic Mahone Bay but that is the only good thing. The campground itself has no sewer hookups and the dump station is in a bad location. The Wifi that we paid a high price for did not work, the high def cable kept freezing. Our campsite was on the river which was very scenic and pretty but across the road from us our other view was about 6 to 7 seasonal lots that looked like something you would see at a dump or landfill. Tents, canopies, sheds, fridges outside, garbage and junk all over their sites and rundown trailers. The playground is also a joke and the pool is to cold to enter. The people that we talked to were friendly but the campground needs work and updating.
If you don't have extensions for your electric and water, ask for site with services on correct side, as some sites have services in strange spots. No sewer on site and dump station is weird - up a hill and a sharp left turn at the top. Toilets and showers are dated but clean. Wifi spotty. Sites are good size with dirt/gravel, fire ring and picnic table.
