This campground is only 2 Miles from Shell Lake. It's a old farm converted to a campground. The campground has more seasonal then by night sites and full hook ups are right in the front yard. A few of the sites sit so close to the septic tanks it can be a little smelly. The bathhouse is old and could use some updates. There is also a 2 dollar change extra per night for using air conditioning. They do have a nice play group for kids and on Saturday morning they do a animal parade where kids can walk the animals and then comb them. They have nice walking trails and also mini golf for an extra charge. Not a bad campground but probably not one we would go to again.

Staff was friendly. The kids loved the animals and the playground. Shower house is a little rustic but not bad. Didn't like how closely packed in all the RV are. We had spot next to septic tank and if the wind blew at all you smelled it! Would have given better rating if it wasn't for smell and I think it's silly to charge extra if you choose to run your AC.
