Old over priced RV park,you packed in like sardines,NO WiFi no matter what they say for 2 days all they had was excuses why I could not pick up a signal,too many dogs,no curtains in men's showers,no grills,unfriendly office people,friendly maintenance staff,you are across the street from the beach.
Just not worth our time or money it to come here anymore.
Park split, beach side and park side. Beach side is amazing! Park side is quieter. Sites are tight, but the view makes it worth it. Staff is nice. Bath house on beach side needs renovation. Beautiful sunsets!
This is a great campground! Yes the sights are tight however, it's beach front and beach side so space is limited. Why would anyone expect huge sights beach side? It's full hook ups and not much more yet again your right on the beach. How much better can it get? Location, location, location your close to everything and can walk to most everything . I high,y suggest giving it a try it you better book well in advance at this place stays booked
Cons: The sites need improvement, the road are small, some lots are not level. Pros: The park very close to the beach. The park is divided un park site and beach site. The personnel very friendly. Good rates for the area.
Front wheels of my RV were on the beach. Like all other Florida beach front RV parks, things are tight. I was lucky enough to get the front row on the beach side. Sand is like powder. Dog friendly. Great group of regulars that come this time every year. Internet was very good for me.
You can complain about everything to do with camping on the beach. But the fact is this is a rare gem. Camping on a beautiful beach in southwest flordia, watching the sunset over Sanibel Island. It doesn't get any better than that. So you can complain that the shower is dirty because of the sand. Duh!!!! The Coconut is the best camping in america, the dolphins just off the beach in the morning think it's a great place!!
Must book way in advance to get on the beach side but it's well worth it! Great staff too..
Le RV Park est au centre de l'action. Il est sur l'artère principale soit le Estero blvd qui est congestionné par la circulation automobile du matin au soir. À quelques pas de notre terrain nous avions la caserne de pompier et ils sortaient plusieurs fois par jour. Les terrains sont très petits et avec peu d'intimité. Le personnel est très occupé mais sympathique mis à part une personne à la réception . La plage et la mer sont magnifiques, c'est les points forts de ce Park. Le coût par nuit est très élevé. Je ne recommande pas cet endroit si vous chercher la tranquillité.
I loved it
Un vrai plaisir à s'offrir, nous avons passé 2 nuits magique au bord de la mer. Pratique d'être si proche de la mer et de notre Rv. Et surtout une vue magnifique. Proche de la petite ville avec ambiance de vacances. Propre, silencieux, bon wifi,...franchement à refaire. Petit coin de paradis ;-)
A very nice beach park with one area directly on the beach and the other across the street. The beach spots are understandabley difficult to reserve but beach access for anyone in the park is easily had. The spots are tight but again this is a prime beach park. We found the people, residents and workers to be friendly and helpful. The park sponsored a Christmas Day potluck which was very enjoyable. We enjoyed it enough to make reservations for next year. P. S. Dogs are allowed but do require proof of vaccinations.
Great way to spend the holidays. Tight fit but the beach makes it worth. Staff was awesome. Internet was bad but everywhere we stay it usually is. Will be back next year!
There is only one reason to stay at this campground, the beach! You certainly would not be encouraged to stay if you consider the greeting you get when you arrive, don t expect the grumpy attitude to disappear after you pay in the region of $100 per night on the beach side or slightly less on the inside lots. The high dollar site may make you think it will be raked off and the patio slab blown off, you will be forgiven which leaves you trying to clean it off since it has not been noticed by management. The laundry on the beach side lacks any table to fold your clothes - and asking for change at the office gets you a sour look. The beach side has 4 rows and the fence is along the only North south road on the island which is somewhat noisy. The cable requires a converter box and it would be good if it was mentioned at check in, well it was not and the it requires a $50 deposit without a smile! The beach is lovely and the reason you would want to be staying, the lots on the other side are small and predominantly interspersed between mobile homes. It appears the many of the campers are regulars and have little time for blow in s who stay for a few days.

Park has so much potential. Rv sites themselves are run down but doable for quick stays. Beach was horrible, beach water seemed unsafe. Expensive for what it is. No pool. No a/c in the bathroom behind the office. The whole please needs a renovation. People in office were ok not rude but just ok. Park was empty and charged us extra for our son. We used to stay here a few years ago and stopped coming because of the condition of the park and beach and it has gotten worse
